I really wanted to like this game, but it feels like a mess of systems piled together without balancing. A few interesting mechanics, but it seems the best way to play the early game is to simply prestige every 10 minutes.
Decided to see if the negative reviews were justified, they were... I even agree with them, clunky, semi-playable, and like some reviews have noted, there's no proper way to resize the play area etc, you either zoom in or out to make the play area bigger/smaller - imagine playing on a large static picture (the UI), you need to drag like an RTS or similar to view the correct functions... increasing or decreasing the zoom applies to every visual element but ultimately not really fun...

This is a really, really cool concept. Unfortunately, the game just seems to bug out some times? Unable to change where I'm fighting, can't do anything with the tree mechanic, unable to move variants off capture targets. Really cool, just frustratingly unpolished. The UI is whatever, very strange at first but you get used to it within 10 minutes.
Nah, lots of reviews claiming this is OMG NEW concept, but in fact similar games were released long time ago, one called NGU idle and Time Idle is just it's clone. Interface here is atrocious, probably in order to prevent people from smelling NGU similarities (which you still can't hide entirely). Now, NGU was kind-a first game of such incredible scale and took many years to get there, so players easely forgiven it for ugly visuals, lack of audio, meh tutorial etc. But now we are in much modern era of idlers where things like Idle Wizard, Rule The Gods, Heart of Galaxy, Leaf Blower exist, so there is no excuse for using old outdated mechanics. I am not gonna describe all the UI mess — you should not play this game, thats it.
gut Grundlagen. braucht mehr zeit
Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Time Idle RPG" is a brainless clicker/incrementer... you know the type, click on stuff to make numbers go up so you can buy stuff to help you click on stuff to make numbers go up so you can buy stuff to... you get the idea. The brainless gameplay is, unsusprisingly, accompanied with an equally low quality technical implementation and poor presentation, resulting in yet another horribly low quality shovelware game that might as well have been done in a web browser. Usually with these incrementers the premise is simple to start with and gets more complex over time to encourage you to feel like there's something more than "N = N + 1" going on... but here it's a wall of pointless complexity slammed at you on day #1 in the hopes it will trigger purchases in the toxic cash shop... a weird and failed way to run a cash grab, but cash grab is exactly what this trash heap was meant to be. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. As mentioned, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
The "idle functions" are really bad coded. There's no efficient logic behind it. To play it efficient you have to do most part manually or/and adjust hundrets of auto functions again and again.
I see everyone else thinks the ui is un-navigatable, but it really isnt that bad. Sure very little time was put into scaling so everything always feels either really small or really big, but you get a feel for it. So the gimmick of the game is time. Every second you spend in game or offline is added as a resource, and you allocate time into gather/craft/work/etc tasks to progress basically. Because of that the early game is unironically a lot of waiting. There isn't much active play so far and its more an idle background game-who figures. You realize that you're more capped by the "prestige/synchronization" cd than actual waiting, and most of the grinding is through the fighting mechanic. So far it's kept my attention. So not everything gets explained while going though the "guided tutorial", and you are often left with questions, so you may need to look into the in-game wiki to figure out some whats going on. But all in all it isn't too complicated If you like games where you kind of set them and leave them pick this up
