The UI is.....well its just bad. The orginization of them makes no sense and you cannot move them at all. All you can do is drag the screen around and pray. There are a myriad of issues with design and gameplay that need to be worked on. It is almost a good game and maybe I will try it again but for now just stay away.
Horrible UI, I actually thought people were exaggerating how bad it was. There's literally UI elements overlapping each other. Too much information that just doesn't matter, and the game is boring.

Edit: after 24 hours in, I am only able to progress by synchronizing every 10 minutes. This boils down to me waiting 10 minutes to click a button. It takes hours of this to make the next research. The balancing of this game is poor at this point. I believe this game is experimental. The dev most likely used this game to develop his skills. He made another game and most likely has abandoned this one. This game is really fun to play. I agree with the thumbs down comments, the GUI is difficult to use. The GUI uses a pane that you pan across. The "menus" are boxes that you can collapse. You click and drag the screen around to see the different boxes. It took me 10 minutes to figure out the GUI. After an hour, I had no problems, it was only clunky. I am guessing that it is an experimental GUI. Regarding the game play, it is similar to Melvor Idle. There is crafting, gathering, and combat. This game is more focused on numbers, modifiers, and resetting. There is little need for strategy or solving puzzles (except for the GUI :P ). The reset mechanic of this game is configured in a way that does not feel like grinding. I get back to my previous point within 1-3 minutes. It really just lets me clean off all of my previous allocations and quickly start the next ones i want to work on. Overall, I am surprised that this game is free. I am guessing the dev used this game to develop his skills. I see that he has another game on Steam. I will give it a look.
Not for everyone, but compelling once you get into it. At first, I found it awkward and confusing. Gradually that changed to addictive. (You can get a long way into the game by just clicked every button that comes up. ) After many many hours, I read the various guides in the community section. That helped a lot. I highly recommend that you wrap your head around what happens when you Synchronize, and what happens when you Time Travel. There is so much going on in this game that you can try all sorts of different strategies and approaches as your understanding of the game increases, and you aim for different goals. One strategy I tried mid-game was to ignore all fighting mechanics completely, and just focus on science. You can hand-hold the game and fiddle constantly with the various mechanics, or you can just shut it down and allow it to play "offline". Both approaches have their advantages (I've noticed, for example, that Tower Levels increase offline in a way that can't be achieved playing manually) It would be nice if there was some sort of end goal. You know, when you can actually say you won.
I don't know what to do because there's no tutorial, extremely complicated UI
This game isn't that bad like the reviews tell you. The UI is very "unique/experimentell" but you will get used to it. For my part i had no real issues to explore (which was fun) the game mechanics but i am an oldskool gamer. As long as you are able to read, you will find out. Yes, the ingame wiki part could have had a bit more details. I think most people nowadays have no patience and i just want to "zoom" soulless every part of life without effort and deeper enjoyment.
Not seeing the issue so far. I'm not claiming I'm amazed at what I'm seeing but it has to be a pretty low bar for a game that's free to be a negative review. It's got an interesting mechanic, it has basic functions like a mute button but also has a cool music. It's fluid, it's intuitive (not sure what everyone's complaining about the UI makes perfect sense) and it functions. It hasn't asked me to buy something once. There is a menu for it but I could minimize it like every other menu and it hasn't asked. People are whining, it's a fine idle game. Maybe at 5 hours in it'll shatter in some crazy way but if I get 5 hours of okay experience with a new concept out of a free game, I'm happy. Ignore them, try it if you're a huge idle fan.
