Time Hacker

I played a good bit of this when it was first released in Early Access in October 2020, and it seemed really promising at the time. But since then nothing has been announced or updated on the store page. Joy Way is an odd publisher since some of their projects get plenty of resources and attention, and other ones like Time Hacker get buried. I'm guessing the publisher jumped ship to the Oculus Store and it's a shame because this game has a very cool mechanic that works really well in VR. If they ever come back to this, I'll be mildly shocked but Stride and Outlier still seem to be in active development so maybe someone at the publisher will remind the devs that this game still exists too. edit: flipping this to a positive review since it actually released. I'm honestly stunned. There's a great game here despite the publisher putting out some odd vibes regarding the release of it.

Great game and I'm excited for more missions!

Time Hacker is pretty fun. Limited but fun. The game basically puts you in life or death situations and its your job to use speed to figure out how to avoid death and stop the robots from killing you. Its pretty neat, but its limited gameplay , take over bodies and shoot enemies, punch them in slow motion and whip around characters and throw them and watch them fly in slow mo, but once you beat all the levels, that's it. There is a creator mode, I did not check that out. I am here to play games not design them. Will be refunding the game as it's over and I can't see myself going back after experiencing all the levels once. Like superhot once you do it, ya know how.

This game makes you feel like Quicksilver, love it.

For a early acces game is a polished and fun game.. Slowmotion in vr is always something special. i do hope their will come more levels.. their are not many now.. Also a graphic settings option in the menu is a must.. But its fun and looks great..
