Has over 800 achievements so that's neat, they pop up so much you can't really see what you're doing and that sucks, it didn't cost much, so that's a plus and it was over fast too, another plus, a short, strange experience but worth $1.

Thomaz is a 2D top down retro pixel action/stealth game where you must run the retro pixel dude around a lazy asset flipped puzzle level avoiding all the skulls. Do that for 2 hours and you get 800 achievements or whatever. This is just lazy retro pixel locked resolution bundle worsening garbage, it has no merits as a video game and should be avoided.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says "Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to." The developer claims all the assets are his, of course they are, he paid for them, so they belong to him now. I'm kidding, maybe. It doesn't really matter, the assets are garbage and valueless. And the game is most certainly slapped together from a game template asset/tutorial/whatever. From the looks of it, this was ripped from a basic 2D top down game template asset from the craptastic, godawful abomination that is Game Maker Studio. This is pretty basic stuff, you go buy Game Maker Studio for $40, you rip off one of the game template assets in there, fill the template out, dump it on Steam for $100, sell it for $200 to shovelware bundle merchants, and then you have $60 to spend on cheap Vodka. Game construction kits are not intended to make professionally published games, they're meant to educate children about some aspects of game development, and for people to make joke games to share with friends. They are not professional products, and aren't intended for the kinds of purposes that some shady "developers" use them for, including cheap nasty cash grabs. Regardless, someone else did most of the work, and this guy wants to get paid for the lazy shovelware he dumped into cheap nasty game bundles, in this case, the game appeared in dailyindiegame.com's DIG Weekly Bundle 264 and 413. The fact that the game has 800 achievements means the developer knew this was never going to sell, so he made it an achievement spam and dumped it into bundles to get sales. There's a reason key shovellers like DIG list achievements as part of the game. Some people go nuts over getting as many empty, no-effort-no-talent-required achievements as they can. Some people make empty shells of "games" just as a cash grab to gouge these people. For example: Thomaz, a template flip with zero compelling gameplay and 800 Steam achievements. My review still stands. The deplorably low quality of this bundle worsening achievement spam, slapped together from someone else's game engine template asset using a cheap toy game construction kit for children, is far too low for me to recommend this to anyone.
