In short words - that means you can now experience lots of never-seen-before playthroughs and struggle with new challenges.

New quests and locations added to the original game
Vanilla version of the game
In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.
The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.
Inspired by real-life events
Control your survivors and manage your shelter
Craft weapons, alcohol, beds or stoves – anything that helps you survive
Make decisions - an often unforgiving and emotionally difficult experience
Randomized world and characters every time you start a new game
Charcoal-stylized aesthetics to complement the game's theme
The Little Ones - explores the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective - that of a child.
This War of Mine: Stories DLCs:
Episode 1: The Father's Promise – a heartbreaking tale of loss and hope in a war-torn city
Episode 2: The Last Broadcast – where, as a radio operator, you are going to face moral dilemmas and decide, whether there is a price too high for the truth
Episode 3: Fading Embers – portrays a story of Anja living in a warzone and carrying a heavy burden as she has to answer to herself what is more important - survival of human legacy or the survival of a man

Отличная игра чтобы прочувствовать тяготы войны и лично чувства людей которых она застала. Рекомендую!
I've been playing This War of Mine for many years, and it still feels just as powerful as the first time. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible—it always pulls me in and makes me lose track of time. Every playthrough feels unique, and the difficult choices never stop being meaningful. It's one of those rare games that stays with you long after you stop playing. I can't recommend it enough.

A complicated recommendation. I think it delivers on its core premise really well, that of making morally complicated decisions and trying to survive in a war-torn area, and the art style is very in tune with this and done well. Fundamentally the game is good, but its execution leaves a lot to be desired. On sale though, it's an easy recommend. I'd also recommend reading the "Beginners Only Guide" in the Guides section of the Community Hub for the game, as there's no tutorial and the game can be outright frustrating to learn for no reason beyond the dev's meagre excuse that it's about 'realism'. The survival mechanics are decently abstracted to make sense within the game, but also fall short in several ways. Firstly is probably a lack of depth in certain aspects: for example, every night when you have to choose between guarding, scavenging, and sleeping for your characters, you can only send one person out to scavenge. This sort of makes sense initially when you start with three of them, but with a fourth or even a fifth, there should have been the option to send multiple scavengers, especially as that would make sense to have someone on lookout on more dangerous sites. Scavenging is limited to the night, but regardless of how much time you use, you will always come back in the morning tired even if you finished up at 11pm, regardless of location, which feels a bit silly. At the very least, if they hadn't wanted multiple controlled characters in one salvage, let the player do multiple salvage runs per night. There's a moral aspect where, depending on the character's background, they react in certain ways to decisions made. This can be buggy, such as reacting to stealing when nothing was stolen, but also annoying when it feels like it overreacts 40 days in to being attacked and having to kill someone, leading to depression while also saying that it was necessary? And lastly is this 'gritty realism' that the developers seemingly went for. Nice on paper, but seems to have been used as an excuse to cut corners. Yes, the characters are newly experiencing a war (supposedly? The backstory seems to mention it's been going on for years), but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't know how basic things work. Yet, there's no tutorial for you to understand how you interact with the game. I can understand no tutorial for the war-related mechanics, but at least tell us how the basics work... Having a practice mechanic for the characters to learn weapons and such would have been good both for depth and for the player to learn instead of botching a raid and losing a character that way, because you didn't realise that a pistol didn't do enough damage.
