very grindy an repetitive, it becomes a chore to play fast if you actually want to progress
Game doesn't run in a window. It is like it was programmed by Mayans back in 1500s.
Cute game. Good alternative to the "I only play RPGs so I can pretend it's an economy simulator" mode I've been finding myself in.
I love the stories and events: well though out with some suprising twists and a fun challenging gameplay loop ^^ 8/10
This would have done better as a mobile game, but as a PC game, there's not much meat to it. Lots of grinding with bodyguards taking too much funds too quickly, I found myself going without any to max out my cart upgrades before going through the story. Not looking forward to grinding more so I can raise heroes for that 10 stat unit to progress further. Granted, deaths only drain money, but it's time loss of failed quests and ambushes that turned me off. Even getting it on sale for 3 bucks didn't really do it for me. I hope Showrunner brings more to the table in terms of creativity, and it looks very promising, but if you're not fond of Dope Wars-like gameplay with some RPG elements, sit this one out.
It's a goofy little game, pretty addictive game loop of traveling around and buying and selling. It's right up my alley. It's got a few bugs, for sure.
I have played this game for 3 hours. I have not gotten too deep into the story but I find the core gameplay to be extremely boring. I still have not unlocked any other regions and grinding to gain levels and reputation to continue either the story or unlock new areas is not fun. The game gives you most of what you're going to do at the beginning and then does not deepen as time goes by in any meaningful way. The fact everything feels dragged out and that I'm gaining money, experience, and reputation at a snails pace without anything interesting to do is what ultimately causes me to give this a negative review. I feel dissatisfied and that I cannot continue to just grind to actually get anywhere. I normally write longer more detailed reviews but there just isn't enough here with how slow unlocking things is.
Great trading game. Similar to Merchant of the Skies.
I liked it.
