At the current state (24/09/2016) the game is too buggy to be playable as a puzzle-platform, bugs to jump and sloopy movements makes the game artificialy hard. If you like the concept, play Karoshi - suicide salaryman series, they are light, works better, have a lot of humor and they are free too!

Think To Die is all about puzzles and deadly traps. Your goal? To find clever ways to perish, yeah, you heard that right! It's a twisted concept, but trust me, it's strangely addictive. Each level throws crazy challenges at you, forcing you to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to meet your demise. It's like a puzzle game with a dark and twisted sense of humor. :-)
I'll make this brief. It needs some polish, but there's no harm in picking this up now for free. In its' current state, it's buggy and plays a little clunkily. Then again, I'm writing this on release day, so I don't doubt that down the line improvements will be made. It's easy on the eyes, adopting the "low poly" style that's risen to popularity recently. The concept is similar to "Squishy the Suicidal Pig", in which the puzzles are far more complex, but, then again, holds a price tag higher than free. I'm glad to see more single player free-to-play games coming in through greenlight nowadays, so I can't fault this game for that. Give it a go.
The one true wish of an immortal is to find death.
Now, I'm certain people who read my reviews are familiar with my disdain for Unity-based games due to some seriously awful ideas or implementation. Now that that's out of the way, this game wasn't the worst of experiences and yes....I'm positively reviewing a Unity-based game, though there's not much that can be said about it. Normally, games are about getting to the exit without dying. In Think To Die, the rule is to purposefully die. In order to die, you have to be impaled or crushed. Of course, there are things stopping you from dying and sometimes, it's pretty hard to die. The implementation of the "level ending" goals is clever and well done. The environment seems quite limbo-like and a bit eerie. The platforming can be a bit tough as the rules continue to change as you progress. My biggest complaint is not about the difficulty, but simply that the assets feel a bit generic. Think To Die is priced at $0.00, so you're not really losing anything from your experience, but I can't help but think that there could be even more. With the level skip feature, you're most likely not going to see the entire game in it's entirety as you try to get your 100%. 7.5/10 Dying can be fun too.
A little funny, a little difficult, it is hard not to recommend this no-cost game. Some levels had me scratching my head, others had me want to skip entirely. The physics are quirky at times, and that can be frustrating, but maybe that is part of the design. Der Titel "Think to Die" ist also Programm.
Wertung:
6/10 Atmosphäre -/10 Story 6/10 Grafik 6/10 Sound 4/10 Spielmechanik 5/10 Spielspass
Fazit:
Tolles Konzept, kreative Level, aber mechanisch problematisch.
[b]5/10 Gesamtwertung
I played through 40 of the 145 levels and really was not impressed by what I saw. The only interesting mechanic of this game is that you're trying to find a way to die. Nothing else about the game stands out. None of the puzzles showcase any creativity, and in fact, many of them are simply trial and error. For example, a level in the late thirties has you press a button that causes blocks to spawn and drop onto the ground. Literally all you have to do is position your characters underneath where those blocks spawn and then press the button. The puzzles here completely lack imagination, and I personally have no desire to play through the next hundred levels that showcase the same boring designs.
[Free-to-Play] I love games that are easy to get 100% achievement and this game does just that, easy to get 100% in under 20 minutes, possible to skip levels by pressing 'F10' For death achievements go to Extras and spam 'R' button The game concept is funny too, you have to 'die' to win.. lol :P Recommended if you like easy achievement / comfortable with blood splatters Tags: [Funny] [Easy] [Short] [Creative] [Unique gameplay]
