I've been following Welsh indie studio Mochi Mode since 2017 in my position at the Welsh Gaming Network and was curious to finally check out this game. Moo Moo Move is a simple but charming arcade / puzzle-lite where you must ride a somewhat overfed steed around to herd cows to their destination. Of course it isn't quite that simple, as you have to navigate obstacles, tackle the terrain, eat vegetables, avoid angry bulls, alien beams and snipers all whilst trying to get cows to head in the right direction, which naturally, they don't want to do. It has 21 unique, hand-painted levels, each of which has three stars to complete based on timing, some easier than others. It's not a long game, a couple of hours of play should see you 100%'ing it (worth it for the achievement names alone...) but it's relaxing and ultimately very satisfying to complete. It can be played with keyboard, mouse or controller and is very easy to pick up, making this an ideal family game from a younger audience as well as a relaxing game for the old fossils like me. Anyone who follows my curator may have noticed I haven't reviewed anything on Steam for about 6 months now, to be honest, I've been rather busy and incredibly stressed and gaming has taken a backseat to the drudgery of real life. So I really needed something to relax with - and a couple of hours with Moo Moo Move this morning have achieved that. Without a leaderboard or competitive challenges there's not much replayability here although you do record your personal best so can compete against yourself. But at the bargain price of £2.89 I think that it's well worth the experience even if you don't return to it after completion. For the price of a cup of coffee, I'm going to give a massive thumbs up to Moo Moo Move. 💖 If you find the reviews of an old Welsh lady interesting, please follow My Curator Page. 💖

Cute visuals are outweighed by random CTDs and issues with AI collision detection. Moo Moo Move could have been a solid game had it received a few patches and more content, but even an issue as minor as the final achievement unlocking upon initial startup was never addressed. Rather, the developers saw fit to have one decent sale and then make the game Free. There are 21 levels total, with one hour-long play through all of them enough to 100% the achievements if that's what you're going for. I daresay earning three stars on all of the levels would be next to impossible though as cows love getting stuck on fences, then hopping over your horse and rocketing back the way they were just herded from. Later levels see a catapult function added, which if you're unlucky will drop all your cows on top of each other and cause the silly things to lock up until you ride a ways away from them. I crashed out of Moo Moo four separate times, along with two lockups during level loading. Audio sometimes breaks for no apparent reason, and two levels contain weirdly loud bird chirping. Visuals and controls on the other hand are good, kind of surprising honestly. Closing the game though must be done via Task Manager as they couldn't be bothered to add an Exit button. If you're curious, it's Free and an easy 100% although the confidence metric being left on the store page means this one will never count towards your completed games list.

Its cow chasing chaos! These little spotted puddins are masters of deception - they act like they're going where you'd like and suddenly, no, they've got an agenda and its entirely not involving you, or your chubby steed. And whilst these bulbous babies avoid you at all costs despite your pure intentions of delivering them to their lunch buffet, Mr Handsome Bull has another idea - You need to be interrupted in your task, constantly. He's pretty polite about it though, he doesn't spear you with those gargantuan horns as he so verily could, he chooses instead to chuck you around. Well thanks chum! Looking forward to continuing to play this game. The art, music and gaming style all blend together beautifully, meaning you have a lovely experience of being a cowboy, hopelessly gathering these little moo moos. I think in future a frantic two player or even four player would be fab, perhaps with options to change clothes or animal colours. Overall I love it and I hope it does well.
Better than CS, Just needs a competitive scene. Called the bull Clive. 10/10 would get rammed by Clive again
After a long hard day at work I like to come home and play csgo. However after getting completely destroyed by elite russian hax I am left with an anger that can only be described as a whirlwind of rage and steel. There is nothing that can quell my anger that would swallow up this world and everyone in it. Nothing except the soothing vibes of MooMoo Move. Its calming music and joyful attitude now reflects upon me personally and we can all thank this wonderful game for saving the earth and all those who inhabit it.
Me: This looks like a cute game MochiMode: On this level you need to drift your chubby steed around on ice and scare the morbidly obese kaiju cow into eating at least 200 pieces of GM rapid-growth root vegitables. 10/10 - will force feed again
Му Му скука.
