2/10 its like they asked Chat GPT for video game buzz words ---They Do Not Die: Call of Crimson Tgirl Apex Land Zombie Shooter Duty 2D Keywords--- just copy and pasted it as the text as the title the game is also awful
They Do Not Die is a simple, decent mob-evasion twin-stick shooter. I haven't played much, and I'm not sure if endless modes only uses enemies of what I had discovered in story mode. In the store page description I now read of a rocket launcher, but haven't seen that in-game. Dunno if I missed not introduced controls or if that gets unlocked later. + Seemingly very good technological basis, albeit gameplay is very simple (I was surprised when a type of enemy was able to destroy wall parts, multi-platform, multi-player) + 3 game modes + Good amount of options * Flocks of enemies that can partially turn to you is great game design, giving dynamics and variance * Obstacles add opportunities for funneling and dangers of blockages (great dualism game design) * Overall, the gameplay loop, mechanics, and interactions are simple yet have variance - The single, simple, loud shot sound becomes very annoying with the continuous shooting - Lacking introduction to game mechanics (story mode intro-texts explain some things about enemy interactions, but not crates and other things) - Menus are navigatable but not fully controllable by mouse (range/value options can only be changed with keyboard) It's not bad for a simple, small game by a single developer and for a low price. In fact, with endless modes and generated levels, it has potential for a lot of content if you're into this type of game. I wouldn't give a general, detached recommendation though.
Sinopsis
They Do Not Die puede jugarse hasta con 4 jugadores a pantalla partida.
5/10

Este juego ha sido recibido de forma gratuita de parte de la desarrolladora para su análisis. i love this game and i love trans women GRAHHHHHHHHHHH
Disclaimer: I got this game as a review copy for my curator page
They Do Not Die* was a... nice little surprise!
A quite pleasant, little remake of a homebrew Wii game I stumbled upon. Now, that doesn't mean you should be expecting a masterpiece or anything, but yet again, I was pleasantly surprised by this little game. A quick glance at the description of the storepage will let you know it all about it really: Top down shooter with an overly simplistic artstyle, where humans and zombies are represented by coloured arrows. Gameplaywise it's fairly enjoyable (in a "way to disconnect" kind of way); just make sure to check the controls... knowing you can run or shoot missiles is very useful. It has multitple gamemodes, such as Lore mode, Endless, Courier, and Deathmatch. I haven't tried the latter, but the others I have and... yeah they're alright.

Endless mode is exactly what you'd expect from it.
Courier mode makes you roam the city to get to different waypoints until you die (I expected tiny Left 4 Dead, but it's way simpler than that).
As for Lore mode, it's a charming story about the struggles the main protagonist went through both before, and during the zombie outbreak. Not all that connected to the gameplay, but I quite enjoyed it!
I did mention how the gameplay is quite simple, though I do have to say that, once you've beaten it, you unlock NG+, and from 1 to 3, there are changes to your arsenal: From rifle to shotgun, from missiles to flamethrower, and from missiles to... a dash... this one was the most tedious... but from it I learnt that red zombies increase the progress bar significantly more than the regular ones... I wish I'd known that before my last playthrough... Either way, they spice things up a little, while increasing the difficulty significantly. It also has a couple bonus games in it and... well one is almost unplayable for me, the other is fine... I wish I could say more really but that's sort of it: Bonus games! I kind of don't really have much more to say: It's alright, nice for when you want not to think about anything; and it's cheap! So if it catches your attention, it may be worth a go! *Full title: They Do Not Die: Call of Crimson Tgirl Apex Land Zombie Shooter Duty 2D Keywords... yeah this is a little too much, I don't know why it was changed from just They Do Not Die to all that... but it's funny.
They Do Not Die: Call of Crimson Tgirl Apex Land Zombie Shooter Duty 2D Keywords is the game of all time. They Do Not Die: Call of Crimson Tgirl Apex Land Zombie Shooter Duty 2D Keywords saved my life. They Do Not Die: Call of Crimson Tgirl Apex Land Zombie Shooter Duty 2D Keywords is the best game to come out since sticks and rocks 2.
Overview
Welcome to your next zombie apocalypse, this time with different color arrows. Kill enough to rack up a score and go through the story.
Technical
Game is technically competent for what it is. Nothing mindboggling going on here, but everything seems to work as intended, including controller support, so nothing much to note here.
Controversial Content
Trans references may be seen by some as controversial, but that's as far as I'll comment on it.
Overall Review
Well, this is... a thing. Very simple twin stick shooter strung together with a story... of sorts. This is very much a casual affair. If you're the type of gamer that likes to just dip in for a quick 5-10 min session and call it a day, this may actually be quite up your alley. I can see this being a decent way to just lean back for a few in between other tasks. If you're looking for something new, or something you can pour time and effort into, this ought not be on your wishlist. The assets are very simplistic, the music is passable and the gameplay gets very boring if you sit for too long in a single session.
The game play is simple, but it's fun and challenging! I really enjoy the tongue in cheek story line as well. The game was a gift, but it's well worth the $3.99!
Those pink arrows are annoying as hell.
They Do Not Try to make even remotely passable games.
