At it's current state, I can not recommend this game, which is a shame as there is potential, especially with the lore. The game hasn't been updated since June 2022, their twitter has been silent since May, which makes it look like the devs have vanished and left the game on here to collect dust.
in its current state... here's some recommendations to the maker: -flesh out the concept a bit more, my suggestion: if you fail to ID the killer correctly, they avoid custody, forcing the "Client" to go into hiding. -replace the the banishing light with say pepper spray? blind them for a bit... -better evidence. wall eyes, the radio seem weak.... in place of wall eyes....scratches appear on stuff?, the radio could be relegated to player use, and the laughter/crying could be muffled a bit as environmental cues to players... -expand the multiplayer more. other additions could be made to improve later on, but these are things I see needing to be fixed soon. has potential to be fun, but WAAAAAAAAY too early for a $20.00 price tag
The game is enjoyable. The whole concept of all the items is unique and the models are actually pretty nice. Being able to find out the type of killer through the mementos is cool as well. The looping is nice as well while the murderer is chasing you. Being able to play by yourself or with others is fun too. Gives off a phasmo vibe. But it is still a decent game! Give it a try. Wall eyes look spooky
Review edited: Im ill rn so i will just give the tldr version the game has recieved significant updates and is functional properly, i reccomend giving it a go now Old review: FOR THE RECORD: This is a not a positive, this is because i feel the game warrants a neutral, not a negative and i feel that giving a negative is harsh for what this title deserves. TLDR: Not quite baked yet, put it back in the oven for a hour longer. The premise seems great, ID the killer before they kill you, but even for an EA this is pretty poor implementation so far, took 4 attempts to get into a solo game that loaded me into a black void Then tried multiplayer and my co-partner was loaded into said void 3 times, then he loaded in and i did, but i couldnt see the killer, even when it was right in front of me a fair few graphical issues I will not say DO NOT GET THIS What i would say is, Get it if you like the idea, but be prepared to wait, nothing comes overnight, this game has great potential, but it just isn't there yet.
This is easily my favorite investigation type game, Its really hard at first. Still is sometimes. But its worth it. It has some graphical errors especially on lower settings the lights constantly going on and off or not meshing properly. A problem I had was when I was trying to find my last piece of evidence, it just wouldn't show up, ran around collected all the Momentos just to find out what it was then went and tried to find it. After about 15 minutes of nothing speaking into the voice box but breathing and footsteps i gave up. At least you have 3 different ways to Identify the Killers so its not that bad, but currently the Observed Actions don't save after you close the game, so they're constantly at 0.0% But its EA if you can look past this, it really is a great game and I enjoy my time with it.
Macht Spaß, hoffe die BUGS werden noch entfernt. Hat aufjedenfall Potenzial.
LOVE this game! Its got all the good stuff that you want from a ghost investigation game plus a few unique things that make it really fun!
Its a very glitchy game and not recommended with groups if you wanna see the whole game play of me and my friends trying to play this game here it is but we all did come to the conclusion that the game has potential: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1410443938 it took us about 20 mins about to actually play a group of 3, the co op mode is yes very glitchy and not at all good yet to play in a group, by yourself yes totally play the game its not glitchy as much but the clues and items work way better in single player mode my all in all thoughts: it has potential but it's too glitchy to give an honest review to because i got frustrated doing co op mode and trying to stream this with my friends it is very helpful with giving you clues so its more of you being a detective if anyone is into true crime this would be something they'd enjoy playing especially the hunt mode to the developers: please please please fix the co op mode, yes this game is fun for a bit by yourself but playing with friends is more fun and we did get frustrated at that we needed to use the treasure boxes to figure out who the bad guy was im always down to give more critique if/when updates happen cause i really think you guys have potential to make a fun game
where did this game go??????
Game is poorly developed. Looks rushed and an attempted money grab. Isn't very re-playable and is full of bugs
