Downloaded this game to play with a friend, and was very excited to do so. However, I have never been more mad at a game in my life. The optimization in this game is atrocious, constant 10 fps and frequent crashes with a 2080 ti and ryzen 9 3900x. I understand that this may be the developers first game and I understand that first games are hard to optimize however, this was released in 2019, the mere fact that he has the audacity to have micro transactions and a supporter pack makes me furious. It deeply saddens me to write a bad review but I felt that it was really needed. Do not recommend. 0/10 do better.

Was fun to play with friends in 2020, but now the game just lags like crazy and the recoil for the top down perspective is whack.
Indeed they stopped all of us.
Holds up even 4 years after the greatest event of the century. In this thrilling masterpiece of game design you will experience thrills like never before!!! Don't let the malware resembling menu fool you, this game is an instant cult classic and will stay in the minds of gamers for many years to come. PewdiePie would approve this. RIP

Warning: Asset Flip!
"They Can't Stop All Of Us" is a disgusting Synty asset flip takes a bunch of Synty Studio low poly models and dumps them on a basic top down game to try cash in on the popularity of a group of nerds who once considered storming Area 51. Once more a shady asset flipper is trying so hard to get YOUR money for someone else's assets. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because the developer stole a bunch of Synty assets and is trying to mislead gamers into thinking he created them... plagiarism is not a joke. If this was done in Hollywood or academia, the perpetrator would immediately be expelled from the institution. I have no idea why this plagiarism is tolerated on Steam. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even after that, the developer has their hand out for an INSANE AAA $40 USD worth of DLC for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC packages from Steam to fully unlock everything, including in-game currency sales... disgusting. All to try get rich from reselling Synty assets. This is deliberately deceptive pricing when a single up front free would be more honest. The game should not be considered free due to this shady pricing structure. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
literally cannot run with more than 5 enemies on screen
