This was a really really great game. It was suspenseful and really made me think. I was fully into the game the entire way through. I think this game is super unique and the story was incredible. I would totally recommend this game to everyone. 10/10.
Beautiful short game with a painful story, interesting angles and a lovely message from the developer after the completion of all possible endings.
Before I played These Nights Alone, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Gran juegazo, recomendadísimo.
Shall we go to sleep again? Yes, please. This game is a snooze. I have more questions about the story, which may be answered in the alternate endings, but I can't bring myself to suffer through Alice's sleepwalking to find out. By the way, there are no puzzles here-just a couple of passwords to figure out. Otherwise, choices are random, which provide the multiple ending scenario. Again, it's like wading through mud. Alice's newlywed husband cheated on her. That's it. Period.
Interactive. Fun. Free game that is short, simple, but nice story line. Point and click game with multiple endings.
A short, interesting game with compact story. I enjoyed trying to get all the endings and how simply straightforward they are. It was kind of annoying how difficult it was trying to turn on the lights sometimes, but eh, it's not exactly unbearable.
The idea for the game is decent, I like the idea enough to play it, but overall, I found the experience rather annoying. Right near the beginning, in chapter 2, there's a very dark room, and you have to turn on a light before progressing, but you can't see the light to turn it on. I took me like 20 minutes of slowly moving my cursor around and clicking randomly before I could get the light on. That's not fun. And that's not the only spot where you have to play hide-and-seek with a lamp. Puzzle one was an okay puzzle, albeit too easy. It basically just hands you the answer. But puzzle two could not be solved with logic and simply required tons of trial and error, plugging in potential variables in different ways that might work. That's not enjoyable. So the level of puzzle difficulty overall is not satisfying. The endings don't seem compatible with each other. The behavior of a character in one ending is extremely different from the behavior of the same character in a different ending. It's like the ending dictated the behavior of the characters rather than the characters dictating what happens in the ending. I made all the correct, logical choices and found out what happened to my husband, but apparently that's a bad ending? Or a neutral ending? It wasn't a good ending, and it told me to go back and make different choices. It's just an absurd place for an ending, and it doesn't make sense. A lot of things just don't seem to make sense. I've gone through a few endings now, and none of them are satisfying. I decided to try some more endings, and I followed the dev's instructions for getting to the other branch, followed them precisely, but it still took me down the branch I'd already been down and had already completed 100%. The Skip and Auto buttons do not work, which makes it a pain to click through stuff you've already read, and the Save button does not always work. I'm not sure why. Anyway, I'm out. I'm not starting a new game AGAIN just to get stuck with the same endings again, especially since you have to click through every single line of dialogue since the Skip and Auto Read functions are broken. I honestly have no idea how this got positive reviews.
