This title was finally cheap enough that I picked it up. I recall it having some limited hype in the MMORPG space many years ago. After playing it for a bit, I can tell why it never became popular. This is a buy-to-play multiplayer online RPG. It's not massive. No huge shared world map. Just dungeons to run that you can run with others. The dungeons aren't terribly designed but aren't all that interesting either. The combat is what really hampers the experience. This combat feels very disconnected and weak. It's also apparently abandoned so it's not getting any better. Getting a copy of The Yellow King is better than getting the yellow fever, but in a world of more than just those 2 options it's best to say no to both.

Came out with updates for all of 3 months before dropping the game, nice.

So as my name implies, I was definitely hyped for this game. Bought it, played it, hated it. Held out hope for pretty much all of 2020 as the devs constantly told us on their discord "things are coming, we promise. We're not taking the money and running!" Well, they took the money and ran. In fact, I'm willing to bet that if any of them are even still running their discord server that they probably to this day still say "things are coming, big trust pls." 3/10 game, 0/10 devs.

Good ol' dungeon crawler, lots of love was poured into this game. Solid yet simple graphics, daily cycling cosmetics, interesting AI, secret walls EVERYWHERE and randomized loot drops keeps things interesting. Bright colored treasure make goblin brain happy. Necropolis-flavored gameplay. Co-op is fun, loot is shared and solo play is fun too. Combat needs work, enemies do cooler moves than you, no skill trees and the overworld is fun to explore, but feels unfinished. Repetitive caves and rooms. I bought it because i thought there was magic but ill deal with a stick and a wizard hat for now, when i find the right color. Worth the money as is, grab a buddy. Servers are still up, and you can feel it definitely was not abandoned, just put on hold till question marks. I hope they continue what they have here, BUT if not its still a good game. In the meantime thanks for keeping it online, its a nice relaxer after work and i'm top of the leaderboards in something lmaooooo
