About
The Woods is a solo and online co-op survival-crafting game set on a mysterious stylized forest island. Start with nothing, gather enough food and water to last the night, build a shelter, and turn a fragile camp into a defensible base.
Construct shelters, campfires, storage, fences, traps, and defensive structures as wildlife and hostile creatures threaten your base.
Hunt, fish, cook, collect water, craft weapons, and plan each journey before hunger, thirst, weather, or enemies catch you out.
Search forests, beaches, rivers, caves, and landmarks for resources, secrets, and a possible way off the island.
Turn raw resources into the gear you need to explore farther, fight back, and keep your camp alive.
Survive alone or team up with friends to divide building, hunting, gathering, crafting, and defense.

Really solid survival game with a lot of potential. The forest island has a good atmosphere, and the crafting, building, hunting, and co-op survival elements make it fun to jump into. It’s still Early Access, so there are a few rough edges, but you can tell the developers are building something good here. Definitely worth checking out if you like survival games.
Good game but it needs some type of guide/tutorial.
Found the game unique and lots of potential, definently needs a story line and a bit more info on each item as to what theyre for and could be used to do. Graphics look great and runs smoothly. Keen on more content and future updates
Decent first time survival crafting game. Pretty straight forward for player direction and objectives.
This game is quite relaxing and fun right now, I don't want to be mean with this review as its still in Early Access and it seems that the devs still have some work to do. I like how the game looks, it has its own unique artstyle that keeps it from being too similar to The Forest, I like the atmosphere, the trees swaying in the wing and the random noises that had me turing my head to see if anything was following me. Gathering resources is fun, I did have some issues trying to find Aloe Vera since it blends in with the environment, but I had no issues with gathering the other resources like Ivy and Sticks. The Building in the game still needs improvement, as it is a little difficult to connect parts of a house to each other and only being able to carry one Log at a time is tedious. There is a way to join the Logs together but everytime I go to pick them up, I end up only grabbing one log. I recommmend this game to those who liked The Forest, also other resource gathering and survival games.
