The Witches Pond

Very good game and with no bugs. I suggest buying!

"The Witches Pond" m-a prins total! De la primul moment în care am intrat în joc, am fost absorbit de atmosfera aia de mister și groază. Faptul că e bazat pe un loc real îi dă un plus de creepy, iar explorarea locurilor ciudate te ține în priză constant. Nu știi niciodată la ce să te aștepți, iar evenimentele care par ireale sunt chiar super bine implementate. E un joc horror-aventură excelent, cu un vibe indie care îmi place mult. Dacă ești fan explorare, mister și vrei să simți că te ia cu fiori, clar trebuie să-l încerci!

Pretty decent as far as short indie walking sims go. A bit of spooky, a bit of humour, different locations and mechanics. I particularly liked the way the witches' voices would come from different places - that was genuinely creepy. I struggled a bit in places trying to get trigger points to work, particularly on the long road near the beginning. I noticed the pause menu did not pause the game. It's also a bit annoying that the subtitles only work for the protagonist's comments, not anyone else. I did not understand a word the imp said. Also the lady in the ninja outfit feels a tad out of place. I'd have loved a bit more story. It seemed at one point there might be some sort of twist - the witches being misunderstood outcasts rather than straight-up evil. Overall, it was enjoyable. I played on Steam Deck, and it worked fine. Took me a while to get to grips with controls. I'm lucky the game didn't involve any precision or had difficult chase sequences, as I would have struggled.

once you run out of batteries and lighter fluid, you're screwed because you are in complete darkness and no way to finish the game at this point!

An alright horror walking simulator. Spent more time looking for the key to start the game than anything (colorblind, it blended in).
