Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very few games feel like an act of self-love as you play them nowadays. Makes me really happy that projects like these still get made. Thank you for this. I've been recommending it to friends ever since I finished it, as everyone deserves to have a brief respite on a catfish high in the sky
The Wide Open Sky Is Running Out of Catfish is a game about becoming a serpent, taking photos of fish that swim in the air, and contemplating the inevitable end of life's journey. You play Jet, a witch's daughter living on a giant ancient catfish in the sky (he's a bit of a dope). You hatch an otter from an egg. It's just like real life! I jest but the game is grounded by some very normal interactions with Jet's very normal friends, along with some goofs like the society of witches' legal team that communicates exclusively by fax. The grace notes help this world seem real even though it is intrinsically absurd. There are some aspects that are poorly thought out or underutilized, most notably the weird internet. The game felt insanely twitchy with a controller and I had to dial the sensitivity way down. Some people may also have an adverse reaction to the bright, very polygonal PS1-esque graphics. That said, this is one of those games that uses its quirky charm to lower your guard so it can punch you right in the ol' gut and the hits are precise and very deep. I was impressed by the writing, even if I hated the font, and also by the joyful aspect of flying through the air and spawning fish. This game looks rough but it is sharp and accomplished and I highly recommend it.

‼️‼️ COZY GAMERS!! THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!! ‼️‼️🫵🫵 How is this not everywhere right now? This game embodies cozy! Highlights for me so far are the whimsical art and charming dialogue. But I also love the collecting, dolphin chats, and flute. It’s hard to choose!! Feels like this game was made for me. Don’t miss out on this one!!
This game is a beautiful escape right now. I never knew how much I wanted to live on a big ol fish, but turns out I do. I don't want to say too much because I feel like it's best experienced for yourself first hand, but if you like exploration, well crafted lore, and FISH please get this! The writing is fantastic, the sound design is so satisfying, and you will be wrapped in a magical blanket that leaves you nostalgic for something none of us have seen, but all of us have felt.
A truly wonderful and cozy game about creating and photographing fish with a story that is much better than I would have expected it to be. The visuals and gameplay are relaxing and this truly is a fantastic game for anyone who is trying to destress. I am quite confused as to why it is such a small title as this deserves to be much more popular than it is.
The Wide Open Sky is Running out of Catfish was a game I was eagerly awaiting since last year - and wow it did not disappoint. Im writing this review with tears in my eyes and a newfound appreciation for life and the mundane everyday. This game found me at a very turbulent time in my life, where I felt like a jellyfish floating from day to day with no meaning. And then I remembered this game came out, so I picked it up and proceeded to complete it in one sitting. Everything about it is so perfect. The writing is witty and goofy, putting a smile on your face while also holding your hand through its message of loss and grief and the getting over of said grief. The gameplay loop is charming and relaxing, and it doesnt force you to catch all the fish - its quite forgiving and focuses on story first and foremost which felt nice. The isolation really hammers home everything, and the ending literally had me in tears. Its colorful, whimsical, joyous and grand. Deeply profound and wise for a game that centers around a teenage witch upon the back of a flying talking catfish. Its a short game, but I think the length is perfect and the pacing is wonderful. Everything is oozing with personality and love from the devs. Oceans Bless You, and please play The Wide Open Sky is Running out of Catfish. 𓇼 ⋆。˚ 𓆝⋆。˚ 𓇼
