The Village

Bonjour, Musique, histoire et graphisme "sympas" ! Mais impossible de me faire aux fonctions propres à ce petit jeu, et donc de le continuer ! Dommage ! Mais j'ai hâte que le concepteur (que je viens d'avoir au tel), le rende plus accessible de ce côté-là et donc pouvoir connaître ainsi la suite de l'histoire ! Lol !

I really enjoyed this game! Reminds me of playing legend of Zelda back as a kid. Feels very nostagalic but has enough of it's own flair that it doesn't feel like a copy. The opening sequence was very captivating and the tutorial is done in a way that's engaging. I found the game very immersive and had no problem sitting down and playing for a few hours in one go. Definitely would recommend to someone who likes these kinds of games.

Bon jeu mais un peu difficile a s'y retrouver au début, quelques petits bug mais le jeu a l'air sympa. Je pourrais y rejouer très bientôt si des maj se font sur ses choses la.

The story is nice, very linear and simple. The music is lovely. Some areas are absolutely beautiful, both during day and night. The difficulty is high, but intelligent. Very nice work !

I do enjoy the occasional JRPG from time to time, and this one came recommended to me from a coworker. So when I saw it was on sale for $3 I thought, "why not?". I was hooked from the start. Just about every element immersed me in the world of The Village. The time I've invested into the game at just about 20 hours, one playthrough on normal was perfectly fine for me. I was in this for the atmosphere - the absolutely wonderful atmosphere ! Did I enjoy my time? Absolutely! What a ride. :)

Brings back memories, played this kind of games (Secret of Mana, FFVI, Chrono Trigger...) when I was a kid. Absolutely lovely !

The music is crazy amazing. The graphics are very well too ! It's retro graphics done to perfection. It keeps the style of the SNES - PS1 games with a kind of poetic / colorful atmosphere. The sound and visual effects quality are very well too - sober and charming. On top of that, gameplay is simple and original (system of different personalities), you can press a single key to switch characters. The history is simple but very clear. A very very nice old school rpg !

The Village has all the characteristics that a good old school RPG should have: very nice et poetic graphisms and beautiful soundtrack, solid gameplay, a good story and a reasonable difficulty. Highly recommended !

Très bon jeu même si j'ai eu du mal avec les commandes. La musique est très bien, l'histoire est très intéressante et les graphismes sont bien. Je recommande !
