The Ultimate Death Clock

It's a very interesting concept and even though I don't believe the "death clock" is accurate, given that the questions aren't super specific in nature, the game did help me really put my own life choices into perspective and even made me feel like I can turn things around. Loved the art style of the character "death" as well!

I did not expect to find gentle prompting to go live a full life from a video game.

Interesting game and unique concept, well written but a little wordy sometimes. Not having to click through so much dialogue would be nice. Overall, worth a play or two.

s'alright, i guess i don't usually play visual novels, so i'll just get to the part i do know at least four things about; the writing, and a bit on the art in terms of art? sure, fine, i like it; good use of colors for Death, they're rather expressive and makes clear what the given 'emotion' is supposed to be. other than that, there's really only the background (fine, gets its job done) and the title screen (i think its AI generated?? it don't Look Right) in terms of writing? could seriously use some improvement mostly because the character of death comes off as the author writing a deity, rather than a deity, if that makes sense; i never got the feeling i was talking to Death, but rather somebody's notion of death. while i suppose it works in the framing of the game, it just never really, stood out for me here's a few reasons why: * death's knowledge about the human body, and related concepts, are... strange in consistent. it comes off as an alien rather than a deity who would have been with us since and until time uncountable. granted, it's harder to ask questions that way, it just comes ff as incongruous with Death The Concept * despite being unfamiliar with something as basic to the human experience as sex, death seems to perfectly understand metaphor and common idioms in the english language. this detracts from the general 'vibe' as death being disconnected from humanity or unfamiliar yet curious, and lowers what should be a pretty substantial being down to more 'casual conversation' type material * i think handling of more 'brainy' topics, like philosophy and psychology, are a bit badly handled, and could definitely use more depth. i would've really liked to be brought along concepts i know nothing about; the bit about Descartes and how being unsure about existence is a sign of existence, but.. i dunno, otherwise it felt pretty bog standard. freud is mentioned once, descartes is mentioned once.. it's hard to feel like i'm being confronted by the possibly untold eons of knowledge, of parting wishes and eulogies, it feels like i'm getting the wikipedia summary for 'smart ♥♥♥♥'. * death's personification is a bit... bland? mostly a combination of the last two points, granted, but death feels like less of a distinct character than they *should* be. are they a nihilist, in observing the value of nature? an absurdist? weegoowaagooist? i dunno, something would be nice * questions could've used a bit more granularity, since there were times i couldn't find the best option hopefully that isn't seen as super negative, i do think this is fine for 2 dollars, it certainly gave me more to think about than like.. some chicken nuggets, and that the developer(s?) did try in some way. hopefully there's more to come

Bought it with the intention of making a video of this on my channel, but even with streamer mode it asks more questions than I think make sense to share with a ton of strangers. Moving past those initial questions it feels like one of those pointless word docs that would float around in the early 90s that asked hundreds of things of little relevance. There's little here that fits what I'd consider thought-provoking, and you can skip text to jump straight to the questions - still getting relatively the same experience each time. It acknowledges that it may ask some questions that can be a bit difficult for some, but the responses you're allowed to use demonstrate a very limited amount of actual care in handing such questions. Ultimately I found it to be a rather disappointing experience.

It's quite nice

Hello everyone, When I started the game, it wasn't very satisfying to me, but as I progressed, I felt like I was chatting with a friend, a psychologist, rather than playing the game. You start to question your life while playing the game. They have managed to make you think about your secrets that you will not share with anyone, forgive a person and be forgiven in a very good way. The game aims at you being a good person for the rest of your life and living the way you want, rather than the hour of death. I think everyone should experience this game. but you should play as if you are facing yourself, not as if you are playing a game. As I said, you shouldn't expect anything extreme in the game, it's more internal confrontation than this game. *Be honest with yourself Well done to everyone involved in the game.
