Pretty die hard, you'll have to figure a lot of stuff out for yourself, but I find that the story & setting intrigue me, and really enjoyed playing the game, rough edges or none :)
Partially based on truth, partially based on myth, Bloodstreet 13 takes place in the Amsterdam of old. The game plays like a first-person point and clicker, with a dialog / action system reminiscent of modern-day RPGS. Mixing a 3D world with 2D characters leads to a distinct visual style. The story of the game is non-linear, players are free to jump into a characters storyline and play around, actions in one characters story will have consequences in that of another. Players are left to figure out which actions lead to which consequences and will need to discover which combination progresses the story and unlocks new characters. An interesting system, which leads to you going back in time to revisit previous characters, changing their actions to open up new paths in your playthrough. All around a very interesting, mysterious adventure game that takes place in a setting we haven't seen before! This first episode might take an hour or so to play through, so give it a shot if you're into point and click puzzlers and games where your actions have a real effect on the story! This game is also available on Android, so you can even play it on the go!

A mystery occurs on Bloodstreet 13, and you are there to piece together what exactly happened on that dreadful night. My first time going through this game I darkened my room, boosted my volume and enjoy the atmosphere that was created. Thunder rumbling, a narrator spouting his lines and screams into the night. Would recommend to play it in the dark, it adds to the atmosphere. :) Once more, from the top!

The story seems to be quite fascinating, and characters are ok, judging by this small chapter. It is not a point-n-click quest, all important items are highlighted. It is not a visual novel either, player is offered to study the events through the eyes of each character. The main drawback is motion control, because vision angle in 3D space is controlled by right button mouse.
confusing, bad mechanics, throws you in with no tutorial in a game where a tutorial is needed
The storyline is pretty interesting and I like the concept of trying to figure out what happened by playing the same scenario from different characters perspectives. Unfortunately the controls are so shoddy it makes playing unenjoyable, especially if you're on a laptop as the camera angle is controlled by right click. It also gets pretty repetitive and annoying having to re-play the same chapters when you find out new information.
There was no option for subtitles, the controls were difficult (you can't even turn to look at anything), and I couldn't even access the pause or quit menu so I had to force quit.
Very cool concept, mostly enjoyable gameplay, but the controls are rather rudimentary and poorly explained. For instance, it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to get past the very first screen, and it's very difficult to maneuver the characters using a touchpad laptop. Despite the difficulties, I very much enjoyed and would love to play the next chapter.
