A cute little horror mystery game! Glad I'm sat by a desk scuffling through this, and not stuck in the game lol
This is a very cute horror mystery game, there are tons of choices and endings you can find, the art is very comfy and unique and the game is surprisingly immersive. The Trials is easily worth a few bucks for a couple of hours of entertainment for anyone who is into some mystery horror gameplay.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this game genuinely surprised me. The atmosphere and story pulled me in right away, and replaying to discover different endings was actually really fun. The choices felt meaningful, and the overall vibe stayed engaging the whole time. On som eoccations I was suppriced I somehow survived, whi8lst on others I fully prepared to survive yet I died. My only complaint is that I wish the game tracked discovered endings after a save as a way to skip forward, rather than spamming my way forward, since replaying is such a big part of the experience. Still, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes choice-driven story games. Also a great game for completionists!
Really fun and simple, yet intriguing, story! You will want to see all endings once you're started :)
The art style grabbed my eyes, the sound design crawled under my skin, and the branching paths kept me digging for every ending. But then the story pulled me in deep - past the point of no return. It's not about endings anymore. It's about answers. And I can't...stop..... I highly recommend this game but beware...it is highly addictive!
An a-maze-ing choose your own adventure game that has consequences for ever action that you take. Can you manage to escape?
You'll die - a lot - but in that fun, addictive way that makes you try again, just one more time. Good atmosphere, and intriguing story, in a simple, yet effective format. Well worth the money.
