The Tower

"The Tower" is a lulzy, at least partially asset flipped Unreal tech demo/homework project or something, that looks like it was slapped together in the space of an afternoon. This is bad, real bad, and it makes me wonder why anyone in their right mind would published such an unpolished, incomplete feeling bit of software through Steam Direct. Waste of $100 that could have been spent on a game development course or something, if you ask me. What do you do in the game? Well, not much, there's just primitive fighting that looks like it was copy + pasted from a "How do I do third person combat in Unreal engine" tutorial. It's a clunky mess. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Was zur Hölle war denn das? Dass es auf Steam billige Asset Flips gibt, ok, soweit so bekannt. Aber das hier? Hier wurden nicht mal Assets geflippt sondern irgendwelche Dinge zusammengehauen und dann gemischelt und als "Spiel" rausgehauen. Grafik: Null Gameplay: Naja, da ist was, aber ob man das wirklich "Gameplay" nennen kann? Man bewegt eine Figur und kämpft gegen Hühner. Warum? Keine Ahnung. Und viel Game und play ist da nicht dabei. Eher mechanisches etwas tun. Sound: Hatte es Sound? Habe ich vergessen. Story: Nope Fazit: Es gibt Dinge, die sind sogar kostenlos noch zu teuer. Wer ein Beispiel dafür sucht, kann sich das hier ja mal installieren. Alle anderen: Husch, husch, weg hier, hier gibt es nichts zum Spielen.

The Tower, çeşitli seviyelere ve son bir boss seviyesine sahip, gündelik aksiyon tarzı bir oyundur. Bu oyunda düşmanlarınız olan tavuk ordusunu yenmek için yeni silahlar bulmanız veya üretmeniz gerekiyor. Düşman tavukların yanı sıra, Yaşlı Tavuk da ona giden yolu tıkayan çeşitli tuzaklar ve engeller kurmuştur. İyi şanlar!

С виду простая механика, где нужно строить как можно более высокую башню, на деле оказывается невероятно затягивающей. Каждый новый блок, каждый удачный клик приближает вас к заветной высоте, но и повышает риск падения. Игра отлично развивает координацию и реакцию, а визуальный стиль, несмотря на свою минималистичность, выглядит стильно и ненавязчиво. Звуковое сопровождение также на высоте, создавая приятный фон для напряженных моментов. Это тот случай, когда гениальность кроется в простоте. Она идеально подходит, чтобы скоротать время или устроить дружеское соревнование, кто же сможет построить самое грандиозное сооружение. Просто, но чертовски увлекательно!

Like I get it developing a game is not easy but why do people release their work without even the simplest play test.
