I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
Одна из целой бесконечности игрушек, сделанных на движке RPGMaker, не представляющая из себя никакой ценности, ибо такое надо бесплатно раздавать, а то и с доплатой.

Sun burns eyes 24/7, I am sleepless zombie in love. Keep pouring rays, I enjoy frying in my own delight.
The Sun Never Sets is a small-scale, retro-inspired RPG that wears its influences openly, leaning into familiar mechanics and structures rather than attempting to modernize or reinvent the genre. Developed by Cipher Hive and published by My Way Games, it builds its identity around a classic pirate adventure framework, following a captain and his crew as they traverse a chain of islands in search of a long-lost treasure. The premise is simple and immediately recognizable, and the game doesn’t try to complicate it with heavy narrative twists or layered storytelling. Instead, it focuses on delivering a straightforward journey that emphasizes exploration, party-building, and steady progression. The story unfolds in a traditional manner, guiding players through a sequence of objectives centered on collecting key items that unlock access to new areas and ultimately lead toward the final goal. Along the way, you encounter a variety of characters who can join your crew, each contributing to both the gameplay and the tone of the adventure. These companions range from typical fantasy archetypes to slightly more unusual additions, giving the party a bit of personality even if the writing itself remains relatively simple. Dialogue tends to be functional rather than deeply expressive, serving to move the plot forward rather than explore complex character development, but it maintains a light charm that fits the game’s overall tone. Gameplay is rooted in classic turn-based combat and overworld exploration, closely resembling older RPGMaker-style titles. Battles are easy to understand, with a focus on basic attacks, skills, and resource management, making the system approachable even for players new to the genre. There is a certain comfort in how familiar everything feels, as the game avoids overwhelming the player with complexity. However, this simplicity also means that combat rarely evolves in meaningful ways. Enemy encounters can become repetitive, and the lack of deeper mechanics or strategic variety limits the long-term engagement of the system. Over time, battles begin to feel more like routine obstacles than exciting challenges. Exploration is one of the more engaging aspects of the experience, particularly through the use of a ship that acts as both transportation and a central point of progression. Traveling between islands creates a sense of movement and discovery, even if the overall structure remains fairly linear. Each new location introduces different enemies, environments, and occasional opportunities to recruit additional crew members, which helps maintain a sense of forward momentum. While the islands themselves are not particularly complex or expansive, they provide enough variation to keep the journey from feeling completely static. The game’s presentation reflects its modest scope. Visually, it relies on a simple, sprite-based style that prioritizes clarity over detail, resulting in environments that are functional but not especially memorable. While there is some variety in the settings, many areas feel constructed from familiar assets, giving the world a somewhat generic quality. The audio design follows a similar approach, offering background music that fits the tone without standing out. These elements support the gameplay without distracting from it, but they also do little to elevate the overall experience. Where The Sun Never Sets struggles most is in its lack of innovation. It adheres closely to established RPG conventions without introducing significant new ideas or variations, which can make the experience feel predictable. The progression system is steady but unremarkable, and the overall structure remains consistent from beginning to end. For players who enjoy traditional, no-frills RPGs, this familiarity can be comforting, providing a straightforward and easy-to-follow adventure. For others, it may come across as lacking depth or originality, especially when compared to more modern or experimental entries in the genre. Despite these limitations, there is a certain sincerity in how the game presents itself. It doesn’t attempt to be something it’s not, and its focus on delivering a simple, cohesive experience gives it a clear identity. It feels like a project that values accessibility and consistency over ambition, offering a compact adventure that can be completed without a significant time investment. While it may not leave a lasting impression, it succeeds in providing a functional and mildly engaging journey for those who are willing to embrace its straightforward design. In the end, The Sun Never Sets is a competent but modest RPG that delivers exactly what it promises without pushing beyond its boundaries. It offers a familiar gameplay loop, a light narrative framework, and enough variety to sustain interest for a few hours, but it stops short of achieving anything particularly memorable. For players seeking a simple, retro-style experience, it can serve as a pleasant, low-commitment adventure, though it is unlikely to stand out in a crowded genre. Rating: 6/10
Aventura RPG generica de 8bits de esas que hay de sobra. Graficos decentes para el 8-bit, musica safable, sonidos, lore pobre y jugabilidad limitada, salvo que seas fan del genero o cromista, no lo compres. 2/10
