The Static has an incredible aesthetic--great art design. dreamy, haunting, ethereal world. The game plays nicely (using a PS controller). I am finding myself challenged over and over again, which i appreciate. At least it's a beautiful fall when you miss!

I've been waiting for this one for quite a while! I think it's very promising, but has quite a way to go. The controls feel floaty and sluggish, but the levels are well-designed. Visually it's really pretty, and very cute, and the audio is excellent. I am going to recommend this, as it's an early access title that can (and will) only get better with consistent player feedback.

And it does this while never leaving you in a place where you feel left out to dry. Because The Static is fun, relaxing, rewarding game that's just a pleasure to experience because of great visuals and fantastic music that is only getting better from here, you should get it right now and be a part of its growth!

By far the two strongest aspects of The Static are its beautifully unique art style and its satisfying movement system. When it comes to the characters and the ambiance, there really isn't anything quite like it. As nostalgic as this game feels, it never fails to remind you that this world is its own and you've never seen anything like it. The player's primary objective is to use a variety of movement abilities and power-ups to traverse a handful of unique levels, all the while defending yourself from dangerous enemies and rescuing your ghostly neighbors. You will find yourself replaying the game just so you can see if there's a faster way to beat a level. No two playthroughs are the same, and that is all because of the games movement system. There's always more than one way to get from point A to point B, and I think that's what keeps me coming back. The Static is many things: it's cozy, it's humorous, it's smooth and satisfying, and its just the right amount of challenging. I am truly so excited to see where it goes from here. If you're a fan of 3D platformers and colorful worlds then this game is for you. I cannot recommend it enough.

Help. It's Monday and I have work but I'm stuck on this crazy fun game! Games like should not be allowed to be released on a workday. The aesthetics are what drew me. I have been waiting for this game since the developers were showing their development on Instagram. The music is relaxing to listen to and ties well with all the levels.

The Static is the most fun I’ve had playing a platformer in years. It balances fun, addicting gameplay with an increasing level of challenge that pushes you without frustrating you. But for me the best thing about it is the vibes. The Static takes place in a truly unique world, with an aesthetic and soundtrack that feels familiar and wholly original all at once. It largely plays like a more linear, course-clear platformer, but its unique setting, fun character design, and vibes make it a worthwhile play for fans of the genre! Congrats on the release!
