⭐⭐⭐½☆ — A Cozy Sorting Simulator The Sorting Bureau is exactly the kind of game you play when you want to turn your brain off for a while and just do something. It's a very calming, cozy, and satisfying game. If you're looking for something relaxing to play while listening to something else, or you just need a game that lets you shut your brain off for a while, this is a great choice. 📦 What I Liked The atmosphere is relaxing. The ambient sounds, and the view outside the workshop window all come together really well. I especially liked how the seasons change as the days pass, which gives the otherwise simple gameplay a nice sense of progression. There's also no pressure. The game doesn't have timers, deadlines for the orders, or punishment for mistakes. Just sorting, organizing, and putting things where they belong. It's incredibly calming and, honestly, sometimes that kind of mindless gameplay is exactly what you need. It's also a great game to play while listening to an audiobook, podcast, or music. You can give the sorting your attention while still having plenty of mental space for something else. ⚠️ The Negative The biggest downside is repetition. The sorting orders start feeling pretty similar very quickly, and I think this is definitely a game that's better experienced over several shorter sessions rather than trying to finish it in one sitting. I finished the game in about 8–9 hours, which felt like a reasonable amount of time, but I definitely would have burned myself out if I'd tried to play through the entire thing at once. I also encountered one minor bug where the in game sound cut out while sorting a package. (My audiobook was still playing so it wasn't a computer issue.) Thankfully, it came back after a few seconds and didn't affect the gameplay, but it's worth mentioning. 👍 Fantastic ambient sounds & atmosphere 👍 Beautiful seasonal changes 👍 Relaxing, no-pressure gameplay 👍 Great for playing alongside podcasts/audiobooks 👎 Sorting orders become repetitive quickly 👎 Better played in shorter sessions 🍵 Overall: Recommended, 3.5/5 even with full price.

Very calming, cute game. Sometimes you sort items by theme, color, material, etc. Other times you put them on a piece of paper either by color or shape. It has four seasons and just continues on and on. One "year" and 100% achievements took me around 6,5h. Amazing price as well. I found a little bug though: When stacking the items very fast, the entire sound cuts off and then restarts awfully loud.
Very cozy tidy organizing game. love the story. Would recommend if you want to give your OCD a great massage. The pick up many items feature is a bit buggy at times and doesn't pick up more than one item but it is still a cozy and fun to play game.
Zenlike comfort for Virgos.
3.5/5 By no means is this a perfect game, but for what it is, it's pretty dang good. I enjoy the relax and play aspects of the game. The fact that there's no particular rush, no stress, no consequences is quite refreshing and relaxing, and I enjoy being able to take things at my own pace and sort items as I like. That being said, like some others have also indicated in their reviews, the game has some flaws and oversights. For one, I do wish there was more of an organization element to the sorting. Especially when putting things in their lined positions, there is nothing more unsatisfying than a lack of symmetry in colors and shapes. I think with some fine-tuning and updates, the game could go all the way up to 4, if not a 4.5. However, even still, it's a good, chill game for anyone who wants to turn their mind off and do some meditative sorting.
Eu amei a dinamica do jogo, é ótimo pra passar o tempo.
Compelling in its simplicity of design and sparse words. There is nothing to do but stay in the moment and sort. Perfection! I love sorting the objects into piles based on my own categories before moving them into the boxes. The objects themselves are pleasing to look at and have good visual texture, and the object handling feels natural. A revelatory moment for me was when I encountered a level where I sorted the objects into two boxes, only for one of those boxes to be dumped out in front of me again, now to be sorted into two new boxes with finer categories. I experienced a flash of anger and frustration, only to realize... it doesn't matter. I'm just doing more sorting, like always. My reaction was more placid when the process was repeated with the second of the original boxes. And I understand now: this is the practice of mindfulness.
