The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns

Very well-written (as in, I do love the language and word choices), and I did shed some tears over it, which surprised me because in the end, it is still a sweet-happy little story.

a story about learning how to let go of whats holding you back, whether internal or external, and taking your life back. I honestly found this to be one of the best ebi-hime novels ive read despite having expectations for a somewhat simple story seeing that it was free to play. Its paced incredibly well and the story is very intentional, not leaving any time for filler and every section of the story adding at lot to understanding the characters personality, lore and character development. Because of this the climaxes the story leads or builds up to feel incredibly satisfying and impactful. Though on the outside this might seem like itll be a sad story at first, it ends up instilling hope into the main character and giving her the motivation to face her fears and start making steps towards a life that makes her happy. This story is really beautiful and its message and characters really resonated with me. Seeing cute girls kiss is always a plus but i think the main thing i liked about this story is that its introspective in a way that even a casual or new reader can digest and process. highly reccommend its short and free!!

It's Rather well written and honestly charming. Its a pretty good visual novel all things considered. + its yuri!
