The main campaign takes place in Hells Valley National Park in Pennsylvania, which has been closed off to the public for years due to dozens of murders and unexplained disappearances. You have been invited by your friend to help him hunt The Rake after years of tracking down its home. You arrive only to find a blood stain, flashlight, and a frantically written note. This is where the main quest picks up, which revolves around going from location to location searching for your friend while completing mini-objectives and having to defend yourself from The Rake along the way. The main quest is non-linear so you can complete any quest at anytime, it's also completely optional so if you want to just explore the map and kill the rake you can do that too. The second campaign (Rake 2015 Map Remake) Takes place two months after continues the story.

game has huge potential, needs all the support it can get
waited for it. good game but it needs improvement. Add more trees, improve the interface and improve optimization.
оптмизация ужасная вообще не советую к покупке на данный момент очень долго ждал игру и растроился
a pretty good game, optimization is a bit meh but didn't stop me from enjoying this. can't wait for the flooded city campaign
This game is quite interesting, gotta see how good the story ends up
A very promising game. It offers the general hunt and be hunted experience with Rake as our lovely host. You have a good selection of different guns instead of just one or two rifles with more weapons set to be added later. The game has great graphics and especially all the weather variants and effects. As of writing this the game has one playable map which isn't a problem since the map itself is already quite big but once you get lost due to a blizzard or a thunderstorm it will feel like you are traversing an entire state. The dev has more content planned like multiplayer and two additional maps, including a remake of the original 2015 map, so the future is looking really bright. Honestly, If there can be a game that matches the atmosphere and feel of the 2015 original or even surpasses it, it's gonna be this one.
this game is fun but it needs a few bug fixes, updates and a better optimization
sadly, this game is just bad. the rake is way to op and there are many problems with the game itself, for example, you have to walk up the stairs by JUMPING just so you can get to the top. its also sad bc The Rake is my fav creepypasta and i really like the rake game thats on roblox. the graphics are good tho.
Needs a lot of work. Reminds me of very early versions of Bigfoot, but without a lot of the polish and features. The controls are a hassle to understand initially and the entire placement of bear traps and cameras is more janky than it should be. I don't see the reasoning behind having cameras and bear traps when the rake is constantly randomly appearing and then disappears after you get hit twice. Not even to mention the terrible performance on a 3080ti and 5900x system where I could barely get 70 fps on mostly low settings. I always have a soft spot for solo developers or small teams, but there really isn't a lot to go off of at this point and I think the game needs a lot more time cooking in the oven to truly be an experience worth $10, not even to mention the after introductory price of $13. I will be keeping an eye on the game, but I definitely think this should have at least been released as early access.
The game is currently unfinished. The main thing is just to add multiplayer mode and everything will be fine. The rest of the time it needs to be finalized.
