What a game this is, an actual puzzle game that makes you use your brain in an educational manner. Its fun, rewarding, and complicated. Personally I don't think theres a better puzzle game for FREE out there. Though a grasp on quantum computing can be very helpful its not needed in the slightest to be able to figure out these puzzles. Overall an extremely well made game at a stupefying price!

I had been looking for a chance to understand quantum computing better and so far this seems like a rather satisfying way to do so!

Im not an expert on quantum computing or anything, but i definitelly feel like the way the game introduces the concepts could be improved. - My main complaint is that base changes are very rare, even when working with standard matrices in linear algebra you'll rarely ever need to do them. but in the game, base changes are very common and are actually a backbone of many puzzles, theres two where your goal boils down to figuring out in which base a qbit has been entangled. Were it up to me id only use the canonical base between up and down, or maybe introduce them much later on. - In general id appreciate more levels, even if theyre not conceptually unique and just have slight variations, it would be useful for building up intuition behind the logic. - Some levels dont require (and its actually impossible to get) 100% completion, which would be fine if the level didnt hide this fact from you. The condition only shows up when you first run your solution. And i do consider this intentional, as the levels also hide the star condition from you like this, which the developers explicitly stated is intended to not distract you and let you come up with a simpler solution at the beginning. - Classical binary logic is not at all similar to what it is in reality. i understand this decision, the classical bits act like particles to make it easier to synergize with the quantum ones. but i feel like this makes it unnecesarily confusing to work with them alone. If anything, implementing classical logic using wires and logic gates would highlight how different the two systems are, a good thing i think. - The conditional gates take 3 steps to process. subjectivelly i just dont like this, its weird. the gate should accept both particles if theyre availiable at once. Despite all my complaints, *this is a game where you get to work with actual quantum logic* (tho restricted to phase 0 and pi) which is objectivelly cool and awesome! The learning curve is very steep and the solutions dont really make sense but if you like problem-solving games i think you should definitelly give this one a try, especially considering its free haha. i wouldve been glad to spend money on the game
