sick game. gives you those raw, unfiltered survival-craft feels where you start with nothing and actually feel legitimate excitement of conquering an entire open world. progression is satisfying. music hits perfectly.
Fun first person base-builder. Even without external threats (e.g. zombies, raids), the different zones, biomes, and space wrecks are quite fun to explore. There is survival pressure, especially early in the game, due to lack of food, water, and oxygen, but these are overcome later as you progress and upgrade. There is some grinding early on as well (collecting resources) but these get automated later. The progression makes sense and is successful in keeping you engaged. (8/10)
I am having a blast with this. So far it has all been a solo session, but that is ok!!! There is a lot to do and learn, but it is not overly too grindy, which makes it a lot more fun! Granted, I am a builder at heart so there are a LOT of improvements needed in that area for a GLOWING review from me, but overall this is a fun game!!
I didn't think I'd enjoy the game because it started off slow, but it has great progression and I was hooked. Every time I was about to burn out, I broke through a barrier and kept playing. You get automation about halfway through, which really helped as well. Storyline is meh, but it was really satisfying terraforming the planet.
Si
I like how its a a more simple version of No Man's Sky where you can actually play together and work together. The planet changing makes you feel like you are actually doing something. Even though some time evolutions goes quite fast, you can play this game for a long time before you finished it.
This game is just like that one time when I picked up crack and never let it down since.
Very appealing visually. Satisfying in an obsessive compulsive way. Easy to organize. The combat is against time, against oneself, not against typical enemies. Helps me work out my life's problems.
