Great little indie walking sim with a touching emotional story. Good Visuals and voice acting. A good buy for fans of this genre.

I'm going to give this a "thumbs up" based on the story. Often painful to hear and without a cookie cutter happy ending, it is excellent. My reservations are with some of the game design decisions and mechanics. --I don't understand why the hunger meter even exists. This is a game about a melancholy walk through difficult memories, how does the threat of starvation more effectively tell that story? --Using the left mouse for the axe and "X" for interact is as intuitive as wiping your butt with your off hand. It can be done, it just feels wrong. You only swing the axe nine times. I would much rather click the mouse repeatedly to pick things up and use a random letter key for the axe. --No ability to save progress. I know: Ideally the game should be completed in one sitting. I have never been to an ideal world, and I don't expect to be anytime soon. Life happens. I had to play through 90% of the game twice because I was stuck in the house by a deer and had to start over.

well what a story!!!!! literally started of as a lovely stroll through the woods which turns pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the more and more you get into it. the voice acting is actually really good i would go as far as saying its better than some aaa title tbh. Amazing low poly graphics with plenty to look at as you walking through. the story starts of all happy with the girl taking you on a trip through her life which turns dark very very quickly. dont wanna say to much because i don't want to spoil it for u guys who's looking to play. 100% worth the money
My Experience Well, I respect what what the game is trying to do. I tend to enjoy these games that involve revisiting an old location to uncover repressed or hidden memories. The game Sagebrush is an excellent example of this genre. While I thought the voice acting was well done and I enjoyed the graphical style and some of the environmental design, I can't say that my impression was altogether positive.

When I initially loaded up the game, I clicked on the "How to Play" section, and found it just littered with typos.
As another reviewer mentioned, the hunger meter is pretty silly. Why include time pressure in a game about exploration that encourages you to collect everything? With how many I had to eat to keep that meter up, I have no doubt that Sophia would 100% be heaving mushrooms by the end of the game.
The game spells out its themes a bit too explicitly. Instead of giving you the facts or just the diary pages, Sophia often (during the "memories" that you find) waxes psychological on how her childhood has affected her long-term. Give the player some credit! We can piece this together ourselves.
Finding the keys for each building just feels like wasted time. They are usually so close to the building itself that it is trivial - why not just have the buildings be unlocked? What does the key mechanic add?
As another reviewer mentioned, the game certainly doesn't pull punches (especially with the ending). However, between continuously scarfing down mushrooms and having the narrator explicitly deliver all of the game's themes, I can't say I enjoyed myself enough to recommend it.
Kısa hikayeli, birinci şahıs macera oyunudur. Sophia Carter bizi gömmeye çalıştığı geçmişi keşfetmeye geri götürüyor. Hikayesini günlük sayfaları, sesli diyalog ve önündeki yol aracılığıyla öğrenin. Sesler ve atmosfer çok iyi.
i got this game for free to do a curator review on it and im going to be truthful. i came up with more major stuff when playing then the story plays out. its your basic pretty walk sim were you learn a small history on the girl your playing as. the story's your basic tug your heart strings story that you can put into 21 notes and 8 small talking parts. sad that this stuff happens for people but i couldn't give any care on this girl as was more expecting "o maybe this well happen or this!?" then "o nother note... and nother.... mk... 15 found... 20... and ok meh" at most its a time killer for something you could guess well happen at worst its 5$ tossed into a bin.
I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE GAMEPLAY FROM THE START I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE FOOD OR ANY INTER ACTIONS I ONLY PLAYED FOR 18 MINS BUT THAT IS PLENTY OF TIME TO KNOW IF IT WAS FOR ME BUT IT HAVE A STRONG CONTENT OF BEING ALONE
A good and beautiful little free game and fun. I recommend this game.
Muito relaxante e com um ambiente bem bonito.
