You have exactly 90 seconds to shoot as many chickens (Moorhuhn) as possible. The further away the target, the more points you score. Aside from the birds, the map is filled with hidden secrets and interactive environmental elements (like stones, the scarecrow, or the windmill) that can boost your score or penalize your time if hit incorrectly. Meine Review zu "Die Originale Moorhuhnjagd": Da wird doch das Moorhuhn in der Pfanne Verrückt!! Eieiei! Ist das immer noch ein geniales Spielkonzept! Auf (Moor)Hühner ballern und so den Highscore in die höhe schießen lassen - und fertig ist die Laube! Ein simple Spielmechanik die einfach Spaß macht! Zu Spiel selbst: Ich habe das Game auch noch in seiner Originalversion, noch in 4:3 zur damaligen Zeit gezockt, daher waren die knappen 3 Stunden die ich jetzt (am Stück wohlgemerkt) gezockt hatte, ein wahrer Nostalgietrip! Das Spiel läuft rund, technisch gibt's nix zu meckern und soweit ich es gelesen habe, ist dies eine Neuprogrammierung und nicht nur ein einfacher Port des Games, nun allerdings in 16:9-Bildverhältnis. Die Musik ist passend gewählt, am ehesten macht da die Menümusik noch was her. Grafisch hat man sich wie bereits erwähnt an die Originalvorlage gehalten. Und das Gameplay ist eh über alle Zweifel erhaben. Man hat 90 Sekunden Zeit um so viele Moorhühner wie möglich vom Himmel zu holen um einen möglichst hohen Highscore raus zu kitzeln. Zum Zocken selbst habe ich die Maus-Tastatur-Kombination gewählt, die ist dafür einfach perfekt geeignet. Ich werde das Game sicherlich noch ein paar weitere Runden zocken, 100 davon habe ich ja praktisch in einen Rutsch schon hinter mir...aber mein rechter Zeigefinger braucht aber dringend erst einmal eine Pause...auauauaua!^^' Da ich jetzt so im Hype bin, werde ich mir "Moorhuhn 2" sicherlich auch mal gönnen. Doch kommen wir jetzt hier erstmal zum absch(l)uss der Review, mit dieser ich "Die Originale Moorhuhnjagd" auf jeden Fall klar empfehlen kann, auch nach über 20 Jahren immer noch absolut Spielenswert! :) PS.: Gimmegimmemoorhuhn! :D

Auch im Jahr 2026 hat die originale Moorhuhn Jagd nichts von ihrem Charme verloren und ist immer noch genauso witzig wie am ersten Tag. Während man in Aimlabs zwar unzählige professionelle Trainingsmöglichkeiten hat, ist das simple Jagen der Moorhühner wirklich irgendwie immer aufs Neue motivierend und macht auf eine gleichbleibende Art süchtig. Es braucht keine komplexen Szenarien, um das Aiming zu fordern, die Jagd nach dem nächsten Highscore in 90 Sekunden erledigt das fast schon nebenbei und mit deutlich mehr Spaßfaktor. Ob es die 2,99€ wert ist, in Anbetracht dessen, dass das Original von 1999 kostenlos war, muss am Ende jeder selbst entscheiden. Ich habe es mir nun einfach mal geholt, da noch entsprechendes Steam-Restguthaben vorhanden war. Wenn es im Sale für rund 0,99€ zu haben ist, sollte man aber definitiv zuschlagen. Moorhuhn 2 und die Winter Edition stehen nun auch auf meiner Wunschliste, damit ich die eventuelle Sales auf keinen Fall verpasse.

Es ist ein Klassiker den man haben muss.

Die Original Moorhuhnjagd ist ein paradigmatisches Beispiel reduktionistischer Arcade-Ludologie: sensorimotorische Kopplung, visuelle Zielselektion und operante Verstärkung werden in einer 90-sekündigen Risk-Reward-Interaktionsschleife maximal verdichtet. Ludische Komplexität gegen null, Suchtpotenzial gegen unendlich. Kurz gesagt: Hühner sehen, Mausklick, Dopamin.
