About
On the barren island of Nuraga, you're stranded in the desert with your Grandpa. Your bull died of exhaustion, and Grandpa is too tired to march. Luckily, you've found shelter in ancient ruins where Grandpa can rest and you can look for food beneath the sand.
But when instead of desert potatoes you dig up ancient relics, Grandpa starts acting strange. He pushes you to dig deeper and deeper, heedless of the eerie atmosphere that permeates the ruins and the mysterious events happening around you.
The Old Flesh of Nuraga is a short narrative psychological horror game with treasure-hunting, branching dialogues, and multiple endings.
Use a divinatory bell to reveal hidden objects beneath the sand. Its ringing shows you where to search. Once you've found something, clean it of dirt, but be careful not to damage it.
Many items await you. Some are mundane, like a potato; others are cursed relics of a forgotten age; a few are alive. But all of them will change your fate, for better or worse.
Your Grandpa is the only family you have left after the death of your parents. He raised you with love, but he is getting old and frail.
Grandpa lived a long life. He made mistakes. He has regrets. He hides secrets. In the midst of the seeping madness, you may discover sides of him you've never imagined. Will you stay with him nevertheless? Or leave him with his sins to rot under the sun?
Nuraga is an ancient land with a long history, most of which has been forgotten. Legends survive, but they are only pale reflections of more sinister truths.
A cohort of characters lurk among the ruins: a Tomb Raider, a Warrior, a Mother, a Demon, and many others. Depending on your choices, you may or may not find them. Witness their decay and shape their final moments.

Coolest sky I've ever seen in a game
A really atmospheric and visually impressive horror game. I really liked the overall aesthetic and the worldbuilding. The whole world feels really old and almost dead and I think that gives the game a really unique atmosphere. The characters are also surprisingly well written and I really liked the dialogue. What I found especially interesting was how much the game changes during the second half. At first I thought the game would focus more on the dementia aspect and mainly be a story about love and taking care of someone. But I really liked the direction it eventually went in. It slowly becomes much more hopeless and surreal and I honestly didn't expect it to go this far. I also really liked how the game handles its gods. They feel mysterious and ancient without the game constantly telling you who's good or evil. A lot of it is left open to interpretation, which made the story much more interesting for me.

The game is very engaging if you're into story mode kind of video games . You explore the area for items to unlock the next mission while having deep conversations with the NPC along you. It can have a real life factor to it if you care for the elderly; warning provided in game. Not a lot of mechanics but fun and engaging nonetheless.
I deeply appreciate the ability of Studio Ortica to create masterpieces bite-sized, the use of italian culture is just the cherry on top. Outstanding work as always!
Intriguing little horror game with a fascinating premise and engaging mechanics. Well worth the time and money spent.
I think what I am more impressed by is how the developers continue to exceed my expectations with each game release. I've been playing each and every single game they've released since 'Loan Shark', and this could possibly be the strongest entry yet. I really like the slow-burn dread it builds up as you uncover the mystery of this ancient place, and makes you wonder if what you're doing is right to begin with - only to realize too late that things are far worse than you could ever imagine. All of this wrapped around a great atmosphere, thought-provoking dialogue and some emotionally heavy moments. Highly recommend! Gameplay: https://youtu.be/nmnSZQRmNsc
One of the most tightly-written indie horror games I've played in recent memory. Haunting, somber and poignant - definitely heed the content warning at the start of the game, as I could see this being upsetting for some folks. Lovely visuals, engaging gameplay, beautiful prose, and a short n sweet 2 hour experience that doesn't overstay its welcome. Highly recommend!
I miss my granpa :( For real though, 9/10 game. Chilling af, touching, and fun. The atmosphere is incredible and, dare I say, iconic. Absolutely worth the price.

Very cool , May tor be with you .
