The Night Crawler

A simple hidden-object clicker game, whose principle is to pick insects in a forest during night, place them in your terrarium and feed them to keep them alive. There is a plethora of insects to collect and document in your encyclopedia, and for collecting more you can buy additional equipment to make the hunt easier, just be careful what you bring back from the forest, as some unknown specimen can be quite destructive… The game is really just two screens, but provides with enough activity for an hour or two of relaxing play, enjoyable especially if you love insects.

遊んでみると思っていたのとゲーム性が違いました。 長期的に昆虫の飼育ができるものではありません。 結果的には金額を考えれば妥協はできますが かなりあっさりと終わるゲームです。 ○○○○が昆虫の一種として登場して 絵とはいえ、捕獲後に○○○○の絵を見てしまうことになるので 気分が悪くなってしまう人は注意が必要です。

The Night Crawler is a small, cozy game that does exactly what it sets out to do. You grab a flashlight, head out at night, and collect insects for your terrarium, then come back home to feed them, complete little quests, and unlock upgrades. The loop is simple but satisfying, and the atmosphere is surprisingly charming for something so minimal. Don’t expect a full-on simulation or hours of content though. It’s the kind of game you can comfortably finish in a single session, I wrapped it up in under an hour while completing most of the achievements. That being said, I liked that the achievements were all straightforward and didn’t feel grindy. What impressed me is how polished it feels despite its tiny scope. The upgrades make the hunts smoother, the journal gives a nice sense of progression, and the accessibility options are a thoughtful touch. If you go in knowing it’s a short, focused experience, it’s a very pleasant little indie to relax with for an evening.

I don't know what game these other guys were playing. I bought this thinking I was going to play a delightful little critter collector game. I was not prepared for the [b] abject horror [/b] that unfolded. Fortunately, I am something of a horror fan myself and was able to face the peril, but for those with weaker constitutions: tread carefully, friends. Terrible things lurk in the dark.

Une superbe réussite de jeu détente . Très vite on se prends au jeu et on se laisse guider dans cette routine tranquille et douce. La découverte de nouvelles espèces procure une sensation de satisfaction presque enfantine. Je recommande ce mini jeu qui est a des années lumières de la violence et du shoot. A ce prix cette expérience de jeu est comme une pastille de fraîcheur !! Cool .....

The Night Crawler est un petit jeu cozy vraiment sympa qui vous fera passer une belle soirée ! Mention spéciale aux graphismes adorables et à la musique douce et relaxante qui vous restera en tête pendant un petit bout de temps.

What a nice little cozy game with cool drawings and chill music. Perfect to play one handed with a hot cup of tea and some cookies on a rainy day.

Une Petite pépite ! La qualité Graphique , les dessins sont magnifiques ! ce jeu est reposant ! on passe un bon petit moment ! pour le Prix c'est vraiment top ! Sachant que l'idée du jeu vient du Game Jam ! je dis Bravo !
