ART & MUSIC
The soundtrack mostly revolves around the jazz noire ambient genre (pads, saxophone, double bass and piano), with North African instruments (Oud, handpan...) The sound design is minimalistic, allowing for key sound features to blend into the music.
Set in a Morocco-inspired riad, the art direction follows a semi-realistic style, having realistic shapes but with black outlines and a handpainted texturing effect, giving a comic book feel.

The Name I Wear is a free-to-play narrative puzzle adventure developed and published by ISART DIGITAL that builds its entire experience around a fascinating concept: identity as a tool. Rather than relying on combat, action sequences, or traditional stealth mechanics, the game challenges players to navigate a mysterious world through observation, deduction, and the ability to assume the identities of others. This unique premise immediately sets it apart from many first-person puzzle titles, creating an experience that feels fresh and intellectually engaging from the outset. Players take on the role of a spy capable of adopting different personas by discovering and writing people's names. What initially sounds like a simple mechanic gradually evolves into the foundation of every puzzle and narrative development. Each identity grants access to new possibilities, abilities, or perspectives, transforming ordinary exploration into a layered investigative process. Progress depends on paying close attention to the environment, understanding character relationships, and uncovering hidden clues scattered throughout the world. The result is a gameplay loop that rewards curiosity and careful thinking rather than reflexes. The game's setting contributes significantly to its appeal. Taking place within a riad inspired by Moroccan architecture and culture, the environment serves as both a narrative backdrop and an elaborate puzzle box. As players unlock additional identities, previously inaccessible locations become available, encouraging backtracking and deeper exploration. This gradual expansion gives the world a satisfying sense of interconnectedness. Every room, corridor, and decorative detail has the potential to contain valuable information, making exploration feel purposeful rather than repetitive. One of the strongest aspects of The Name I Wear is how seamlessly its story and gameplay support one another. The themes of secrecy, espionage, and personal identity are reflected directly in the mechanics. Instead of separating narrative exposition from puzzle solving, the game allows discoveries in one area to influence the other. Learning about a character's role in the world often becomes just as important as solving a puzzle, creating a cohesive experience where storytelling and gameplay feel inseparable. The visual presentation strikes a distinctive balance between realism and stylization. The architecture and environments feature realistic foundations enhanced by hand-painted textures and bold artistic outlines. This approach gives the game a memorable appearance while maintaining enough clarity for puzzle-solving purposes. The Moroccan influences provide a rich cultural atmosphere, while the stylized presentation adds a dreamlike quality that complements the game's themes of shifting identities and hidden truths. Sound design also plays a major role in establishing the game's mood. The soundtrack blends noir-inspired jazz elements with North African musical influences, producing an atmosphere that feels mysterious, elegant, and occasionally melancholic. Instruments such as piano, saxophone, oud, and percussion combine to create a unique sonic identity. The restrained audio design ensures that players remain immersed in exploration while still noticing subtle environmental cues that may contribute to puzzle solutions. Beyond its mechanical creativity, the game explores mature subject matter through its narrative. References to war, torture, and chemical attacks add weight to the story without relying on graphic imagery. These darker themes are handled through implication and world-building rather than explicit depiction, allowing the game to maintain a thoughtful tone while addressing serious topics. This approach helps create emotional depth and reinforces the sense that players are uncovering a complex and troubled history beneath the surface of the world. While players looking for fast-paced action may find the deliberate pacing less appealing, those who enjoy narrative-driven adventures and environmental puzzle games will likely appreciate the game's commitment to its core ideas. The identity mechanic remains consistently interesting because it influences exploration, storytelling, and puzzle-solving in equal measure. Few games attempt to build an entire experience around such a concept, and even fewer integrate it so effectively into every aspect of their design. The Name I Wear succeeds as a creative and memorable puzzle adventure that prioritizes intelligence, observation, and narrative immersion. Its inventive identity-based gameplay, atmospheric setting, striking visual style, and carefully crafted audio design combine to create an experience that feels distinctive within the genre. Although its appeal may be strongest among fans of slower-paced mystery adventures, it demonstrates a level of creativity and thematic cohesion that makes it easy to recommend. Rating: 8/10

Very fun escape game with interesting narration! The core mechanic is very well thought out which leads to clever puzzles! Atmosphere is great with lots of attention to details! Well done, had a very good time!
Super jeu.
we need chinse!!! Excellent !
A bloody excellent puzzle! I feel like this is was made for VR! Consider this, it would be quite immersive and suitable.
It's short, it's free and it shows a lot of potential ! The controls are a bit finicky, there are some glitches, but even with how short it is, it has taken me in its universe. I truly enjoyed playing and would love to see more. Also, really nice music.
