The Lightbringer is a poetic adventure/puzzle platformer with light combat elements, set in a beautiful world claimed by a vile corruption. Guided by your sister’s spirit, you must prevail where she could not. Cleanse the corruption, become The Lightbringer.

So many bugs... Save your nerves.
Counter to what other reviews think, I felt the controls were quite tight and when moving the camera was able to make most platforms easily. If you've played Crash Bandicoot or similar, you'll have no problems. The game isn't particularly hard unless you're trying to 100%. I was using an Xbox controller, perhaps the other reviews were using mouse and keyboard? It took me about 6 hours to defeat the final boss, so the game was definitely worth the £1 I paid for it. Although there isn't a checkpoint system, falling to your death will reset your position and cost 1 heart, so I felt it was forgiving, especially when you pick up hearts in the level. However, I think there might be a bug where you can lose all health at once causing you to need to restart the whole level, but this only happened to me once or twice. The graphics and level design are polished. Sound and music is fair. The combat is a bit repetitive, but the boss fights are interesting although not particularly challenging.
Pendiente de terminarlo, pero desde ya, 100% recomendado
Игра великолепна !!! Классический 3д платформер Рекомендую !!!!

I think it's very sad that the developers didn't polish this game more. It has amazing speedrun potentials, but is sadly killed bc there's just too many glitches and inconsistent bugs that's never gonna be fixed, bc sadly this game like so many others, seems to be abandonded by the devs. For instance, there's a platforming section where you're shutting down fans with the boomerang while navigating a platform through it. When the fans turned back on, it would keep pushing me in a specific direction, even though outside of the range. The only way to solve this was to die and restart the level. Also, the game can't be run hitless because of a faulty programming of a spinning flame pillar in Chapter 4 Level 3. I still enjoyed my time with it though. Managed to fix 100% and all Steam Achievs sub 10 hours. Would have loved to see some more in-depth mechanics. It feels bad when you can't spend the Light and Crystals you collect as a resource. It could have been used for upgrading the weapon, permanent health upgrades, tripple jump etc. I think this could have made it possible to expand on the content in the game, easily doubling it's content and making it more satisfying and rewarding to collect stuff. TLDR; Great game, needs more mechanics & usable resources, biggest flaw is the bugs that's not getting fixed. Can't be speedrun bc of it, also, can't be run hitless because of a faulty programming of a spinning flame pillar in Chapter 4 Level 3.
It's a really good platformer with 3 differents biomes. A lot of diversity in the platformer part. Not a single level looks like the other. The only downside is the lack of checkpoint, forcing you to redo a level entire from scratch. The story is short and interesting. I've really enjoyed my time here even if the lack of checkpoint is frustrating, especially when you have found everything and you lose badly for no reason.
