If you've ever wondered what the combination of Bloodborne and Castlevania would look like, then The Last Faith is a game for you. It is not terribly original, but it does a respectable job building upon its inspirations - solid combat, boss fights and difficulty curve, RPG elements allowing for different builds, several movement and traversal abilities which are well distributed and overall make for a steady progression pace and route, cool art style with some stunning designs, very good audio work with the sound effects, music, voice acting... Story is serviceable, dealing with usual Soulslike themes of higher powers and their corruption, presented in a semi-straightforward way: NPCs explicitly give you just enough context and direction, but it requires hunting down lore tidbits and thorough investigation to complete all the quests and get the full picture. Level design is a bit of a mixed bag, as it has some pretty interesting areas and no especially annoying or bad parts, but it also lacks a little in variety both visually and gameplay-wise and can occasionally be clunky with the way places are laid out or connected, however exploration is still engaging and flows well, with lots of secrets and even optional areas and boss fights. While it is probably the Metroidvania with most direct Soulslike influence I have played so far, it is not particularly difficult, so that should not be too much of a concern if the idea piques your interest, but be prepared to sometimes scratch your head in confusion about where to go next and make sure to add the free DLC from the start, as it doesn't just include side-modes and cosmetics, but also various improvements to the base game.

comecei a jogar agora e to gostando, a gameplay é muito boa e o jogo é lindo, só não entendi o motivo de que quando eu entrei no jogo pela primeira vez, do nada veio um monte de conquista sendo que eu nunca tinha jogado o jogo kkkkkkkk, conquista de obter todas as armas, todas as armas de fogo, todos os encantamentos e várias outras, e eu nunca tinha jogado esse jogo na vida, entendi foi nada mas ok

Temática gótica incrível e uma ótima mistura de Soulslike com Metroidvania. Eu diria que The Last Faith é um verdadeiro Soulsvania.
