The Immolate

What a pleasant surprise! I totally wasn't imagining that I would have liked this game so much! The Immolate immediately reminded me of Granny for the layout of the house, the style of the puzzles, the extremely retro low-poly graphics, and above all the main antagonist (who has her own story and character though). However, I also noticed a strong Puppet Combo's influence, especially in the setting, in the atmosphere, and in the brutality of the killer. I definitely felt the 80's-90's vibes that are advertised on the store page, so I think the devs absolutely succeeded in their intent. And above all, I think they succeeded in creating a scary, yet totally fair experience, that kept me hooked from the beginning to the end, without even an ounce of frustration. I had a lot of fun, and will surely play this game again to see all endings. Certainly recommended to all fans of retro survival horror! Cheers guys!

I recommend it as it successfully captures the atmosphere of the 90s in the game. However the sudden jumps of the woman can be a bit scary at times. Overall I can say I enjoyed the game.

The first horror game I played, and it was amazing.

Korku ve gerilim oyunlarını seven herkese tavsiye ederim oynarken cidden korkdum ve normalde korku oyunlarınla alakam yokdur ama bu oyun bir şekilde sardı. Gelecekde daha çok oynayacağım kesin. I haven't managed to finish the game yet as it's a bit challenging. Overall, I liked the game and would recommend it.

English version below. Sehr gutes Spiel! Gerade die Anfangsszene im Supermarkt und die Autofahrt waren einfach top. Wir haben uns mehrfach erschrocken und gegruselt. Wir lieben auch die Graphik und die Gameplay Möglichkeiten des Spiels. Alles hat irgendwo einen Sinn am Ende. Es war total schön, dass die Entwickler zu uns in den Stream kamen, um sich mit uns zu gruseln und Tipps zu geben. https://youtu.be/2OO8FPcwZ70 OK... Ich habe zwar nur ein paar Minuten in das Spiel geschaut, aber das hat gereicht um ins Schwitzen zu kommen. Ich denke anhand der Screenshots etc weiß man schon worauf man sich hier einlässt was die Optik angeht. Der Sound passt natürlich auch dazu nur die Sprachausgabe hätte ich mir ein kleines Bisschen besser gewünscht. Aber ok man kann nicht alles haben, dafür habt ihr es mit Adrenalin geladenen Verfolgungsjagden zu tun und müsst ständig auf der Hut sein. Wer sowas gerne mag und sich dieser permanenten Anspannung gerne aussetzt wird hier genau das richtige gefunden haben... Von mir klar ne Empfehlung, das Spiel erfindet das Rad zwar nicht neu aber dafür läuft das Rad ziemlich rund und das ist schonmal viel wert...
