About

The CHALLENGE CREATOR is a major update to THE HORDE WANTS YOU DEAD that allows you to setup challenges how you want to. This isn't just about tweaking how big the horde is or how strong enemies are, instead we've exposed most of the game's systems to the Challenge Creator. Create extreme setups, go crazy OP, make fiendishly difficult challenges - The game is entirely in your hands!

THE HORDE WANTS YOU DEAD is a chaotic shoot'em up where you and your squad must survive against hundreds and thousands of angry and fearless enemies. The game is designed to be a challenging experience throughout - you won't find "survivors-like" OP upgrades or magical abilities here - it's just you, your weapon, some grenades and your teammates, as you use all your skill and focus to defeat ever more difficult horde onslaughts.

Test your skills over 5 levels of challenge, with increasing horde size, new enemy types and new weapons. Keep your bullets flying, throw grenades at large groups, roll away from danger. Learn and adapt to different enemies. Use all the tools at your disposal to match their quickly overwhelming numbers. And when you're ready, try Endless mode and see how long you can survive!

Gather your friends and play in 4-player online co-op. Strategize with your squad to focus on tougher enemies or try to split up the horde around the map. Keep each other alive and you might just stand a chance!

With full ragdoll physics for all enemies, send bodies and dismembered limbs flying through the air with a perfectly placed grenade. Watch as blood spurts out from every hit, slash and bullet hole, dynamically covering the arena. Gaze upon the scarred battlefields, littered with cracks and scorch marks - you could almost call it art!

Collect coins from downed enemies to earn supply crates with a selection of upgrades. From more health and faster movement to stronger grenades and lower cooldowns, improve your character and increase your fire power to keep up with the horde. Supplies are limited so pick wisely!

Fighting the horde is hard work but it pays off. Receive XP from kills, assists and wins, level up to gain skill points and then use them to permanently upgrade a stat of your choosing. Every little bit helps!

Endless fun diving through bat swings and grenade blasts!!
The Horde Wants You Dead is a fast-paced cooperative action game that embraces the classic thrill of surviving impossible odds. Developed and published by Bellyflop Games, it throws players into chaotic battlefields where enormous waves of enemies attack relentlessly from every direction. Rather than relying on elaborate story elements or complex role-playing systems, the game focuses on delivering pure arcade-style survival action. Its design philosophy is refreshingly straightforward: stay alive, eliminate the horde, and work together to overcome increasingly dangerous challenges. The gameplay revolves around intense top-down shooting where positioning and awareness are often more important than raw firepower. Players must constantly move across the battlefield while managing large groups of enemies that can quickly surround and overwhelm them. The controls are easy to understand, but mastering the game requires sharp reflexes and smart decision-making. Every match becomes a tense balancing act between aggression and survival, creating an experience that remains engaging even after multiple sessions. One of the game's strongest features is its commitment to cooperative play. Up to four players can join forces online, transforming each mission into a frantic team effort. Success often depends on communication and coordination, as teammates must cover one another, revive fallen allies, and focus on priority targets when the pressure becomes overwhelming. While the game can be played solo, the cooperative mode brings out the best aspects of its design, generating memorable moments of last-second rescues and hard-fought victories against overwhelming enemy numbers. Progression is handled through a combination of temporary upgrades earned during a run and permanent improvements unlocked over time. Enemies drop currency that can be exchanged for valuable supplies and enhancements, allowing players to customize their approach to survival. Additional health, stronger grenades, faster movement, and reduced cooldowns all contribute to a sense of growth without making the game feel effortless. Outside of matches, experience gained from combat contributes to long-term progression, giving players extra incentives to keep returning. The game also introduces a healthy amount of variety through multiple stages, escalating difficulty levels, and an Endless Mode that challenges players to survive for as long as possible. Enemy encounters become increasingly intense as the game progresses, forcing players to adapt their tactics and improve their understanding of the battlefield. The constant increase in danger helps maintain excitement and prevents the gameplay from becoming stale too quickly. Visually, The Horde Wants You Dead focuses on delivering satisfying combat feedback. Enemies react dramatically to gunfire and explosions, with ragdoll physics creating entertaining scenes of destruction. The battlefields gradually become littered with evidence of the conflict, reinforcing the feeling of fighting against impossible numbers. While the presentation may not rival major blockbuster releases, it effectively supports the game's action-heavy identity and contributes to the overall sense of chaos. Another standout feature is the flexibility offered by its challenge customization systems. Players can modify gameplay conditions and create their own survival scenarios, significantly extending replay value. Whether someone wants a brutal test of skill or a more experimental setup, the available options allow for a surprising amount of creativity. This feature ensures that dedicated players have reasons to continue exploring the game long after completing its standard content. The Horde Wants You Dead does have a few limitations. Players looking for a deep narrative, extensive world-building, or highly varied mission objectives may find the experience somewhat repetitive over long periods. The game's emphasis on constant combat means that nearly everything revolves around surviving waves of enemies. However, for players who enjoy cooperative shooters and challenging survival gameplay, this focused approach is more of a strength than a weakness. Ultimately, The Horde Wants You Dead succeeds because it understands exactly what it wants to be. It delivers a challenging and entertaining horde-survival experience built around teamwork, skill, and relentless action. Its rewarding progression systems, satisfying combat mechanics, and strong cooperative gameplay create a package that is easy to recommend to fans of the genre. While it may not reinvent the formula, it executes its core ideas with confidence and provides plenty of reasons to keep coming back for another fight against the endless horde. Rating: 6/10
good fun
Is ok, map is boring. need more map type, is ok for wasting time, shield person cannot destroy them, must be shot from behind or side
Cool action game! Brings tention! Fun :) The Music is super!
its kinda addictive. try it out
Great game to kill time with. Better with friends!
yes
For the price it was decent. Its not going to blow u away. I definitely wouldnt pay the price it wants without the sale. But its fun, simple as it is. I think this a great game too pass time. Enemy types are alright. If i had to knock it down the upgrade system is tedious and boring, upgrades to each bar stats dont feel powerful. Almost like the upgrade in ur session is more relevant then the upgrades to each bars seem meaningless. You can pretty much sort of get through most, but as levels get harder its pretty much a grind. As the game states its casual and thats fine by me. I have done the first 3 levels and i just wanted too put that honestly i think this would make a great deck game because its small n its meant too pass time. Havent tried with friends yet but i gifted the game too a few friends because its on sale n for 3 bucks and i wouldnt pay more for it because it lacks the + more fun factor, who knows how much fun can be had with friends. Solo i was having fun.
