they have disabled almost all the game modes by shutting down online. remind me never to buy a 2k game again.
There doesn't seem to be much point in saying much since the game's delisted now, but I have come to enjoy this game quite a bit (albiet only recently). I bounced off it when I first got it as it felt sterile and lacking character. It still does to me, but having spent some time with it, it plays a nice game of golf. If this was still available I'd recommend it, especially to those like myself with older hardware. There's loads of courses to play and I'm enjoying making my way through the career at the moment. However, the publishers seem to find the likes of EA and Ubisoft as sources of inspiration and have decided to soon shut down servers for the game without offering any sort of patches for the career to be played offline when they do so. I assume access to user-created courses will also go too. And much like my response to EA doing similarly for the likes of Tiger Woods '09 back in the day (by turning off online multiplayer servers on the platform that has a paid system - Xbox Live), I will be heavily deterred from spending money on your future products knowing that this is how you behave. I find it weird saying this but to the credit of EA, at least I could still play the career. Publishers, please stop killing your games. You might not value them any more, but many do.

Killed this game so you buy the £60 "new" version
I installed this because SINGLE PLAYER career mode doesn't work on 2k21 anymore since the servers went offline. Same thing here.
2K killing another game
Servers are offline permanently.
Do not buy any 2K PGA golf games going forward. This game, like all 2K golf games is unplayable. It is impossible to recommend any 2K Golf games. Unfortunately, 2K continues to shut down their golf games after only a few years of service, If you buy a 2k game it is a 2-3 year rental. 2K created server based games that they shut down 3 years after launch and become completely unplayable. This is not acceptable for games that cost $70-120 plus include micro transactions and season passes.
Game doesn't let you play a "OFFLINE" career mode anymore. If you want to play - BUY it on EA or install EA app and you'll need to be online for a simple career gameplay-breather. Game would normally get a ++ rating (buy recommendation)... since it is just relaxing at it'S finest, but like that - NOT RECOMMENDED - SAVE YOUR MONEY - play the older offline versions - ez pz ;)
Time to boycot 2K sports games. The fact they remove all online play, killed the servers and cannot even continue my career. Feels more like you are renting the games from 2K for about 2-3 years before they kill it. 100% done w 2k entirely esp seeing the mess BL4 is. They learn nothing.
2K killed servers. Tried playing PGA Tour 2k21, no chance. tried this? no chance.
