RPG Maker strikes again! The Fruitless Flower 雾雨中的徒花 is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. Notably the author here couldn't work out how to use RPG Maker to make an RPG... and that's the only thing RPG Maker can do properly... except it's not even very good for making RPGs. Instead, we have a crap E-book/Interactive novel. Presumably the author couldn't work out how to use the craptastic Ren'Py visual novel construction set, so this E-Book is a matter of using RPG Maker top down view to shuffle between passages of text. Badly written text. We know it's badly written because if they could write professionally, they'd be published authors. Instead, gamers have to put up with this non-game E-book trash that's written like a high school anime club dropout fanfiction. I can't stress how bad the amateur writing is here... but the fact they tried to self-publish a book on Steam using RPG Maker should tell you exactly how far you should go to avoid this trash. This E-Book has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this E-book is somewhat broken and will put off a lot of readers. The poor quality of this E-Book is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 readers. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only reader activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 real games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality E-Book is to be expected. The Fruitless Flower 雾雨中的徒花 is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the E-Book, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger. It's also impossible for me to recommend things which aren't games to gamers.

有点参考二战时期的设定，剧情蛮有意思的

最新的评论也都2年前的了——说实话，这无疑是一款非常不错的游戏。首先令人眼前一亮的便是游戏的背景设定以及主题：纳粹统治下的百合故事？确实挺不错的。这样的背景设定注定会给人深刻的思考。纳粹的暴行同日本帝国主义在南京犯下的罪行是生活在这个世界的任何一个人都不应该忘记的。而现如今，有的人却在吹捧纳粹，令人唏嘘。 回到作品本身，剧情确实可以，中间几经患难，我忍不住对主角二人的命运感到担忧，对主角二人感情的增进感到欢喜。如果说本作品有什么缺点的话，我认为插画的质量却实是差了点。不过考虑到作品本身就是小成本作品，所以无伤大雅。 PS. 在看结局一二人最后的对话时，我本想把它归类到相对可以的结局，结果最后给我来这么一下......小穗那个结局给我的冲击力是最大的

请你们一定要这样长久地幸福下去。 故事很好，在刀中带点糖，但游玩时要注意多扫图收集物品，这些物品收集的数量会直接影响结局，幸好游玩前看了评论注意去收集物品才一次性达成happyend,对于一个六块钱小体量的游戏来说该作是比较不错的，其中不乏不少对德意志国的映射和批判，和普通平民在法西斯政权统治下的悲痛与无可奈何，对女主间的情感描写也有一个较为合理的循序渐进的过程，从初识到在苦难中相互依偎再到成为彼此生命中不可或缺的存在（一定要幸福啊你们！）在游玩体验上可能存在一些小瑕疵，但总体不影响游玩，还是十分推荐的！！！

其实也算还不错的小品作，闲暇时刻值得一玩。
