Absolutely, without a doubt one of the worst games I've ever played. First level should only take a few minutes but saw me playing for over 40 mins, second things got better and relatively creepy, then there was the nightmare of the hospital level where there is little to no instruction to the player and wandering around corridors endlessly for hours with just downright frustrating. If I hadn't have gone over the 2 hours I'd be looking for a refund.
Is it the best game ever? No. Is it the smoothest playing game ever? No. But is it weird, strange, spooky and creepy? Absolutely. It does the spooky, creepy and weird very well even if the overall experience is rough around the edges.
Wishing there was a neutral option for games like this. The narrative is good, the aesthetic and visuals are outstanding, it's genuinely scary, and some of the segments are very touching. However certain levels are a major slog to play. For example in one level you're carrying something and have to get through what's essentially a maze to pick it up. On your way back you see a shadow figure, which have never once in the game hurt you before, and if it gets even remotely close to you it takes the item and you have to completely backtrack all over again. This is never explained and there is no warning. The backtracking is what makes it a slog. Additionally, some of the game feels like padding just to make the game longer. I also ran into a few bugs that made me have to repeat segments which was frustrating. Despite the negatives though it really is an interesting and gripping experience... If you have the patience for it. I made a video that talks about the narrative themes toward the end of this game (toward the end of the video). It does include spoilers about the game so be wary! https://youtu.be/YFSh2UefSBc?si=1LSK9X7cO7GCAiwP
This game is underrated. the vibes and atmosphere are unmatched. sure there are 1 or 2 bugs here and there but nothing game breaking. there are 6 levels in total and only one is annoying. the score should be 7/10
Poco inspirado. Malas mecánicas
