The Fantastic Kitty Rue

Very cute. I enjoyed it a lot. I love the story line :) I'm not the best at rhythm games but this was easy to follow :)

A short, fun introduction to what will hopefully one day be much bigger games, set in what's already a much bigger world—full of childlike wonder, but with danger lurking just behind it... (not to mention plant-based magic systems, conspiracies, etc.) Yes, I will repeat... it's rather short. And if you're looking for revolutionary dancing mechanics, this game will not end your search. But as someone who finds fewer and fewer surprises with every AAA release, it was fun to dive into a game with the ambition, like Kitty Rue, simply to be heard. Best of luck to the team on Noiramore Academy!

Loved the voice overs very well done looking forward for those to be fully done also the animations were fresh to see, maybe have a difficultly option for the dances as I found it quite challenging overall great story though I'm enjoying it.

An adorable game, with loving characters and cool world building. Shame I suck at both rhythm and point & click games.

I was on the fence about buying this game because the style of it is nor ordinarily what I play but I'm really glad I did! As others have said its very heartwarming and cute. I can tell the developer put a lot of passion and effort into it. The world is so detailed and I hope that at some point they can make another game with these characters. The writing is also really good. Felicity acts and thinks like how a child would in these situations and her inner monologues and interactions with other characters were very adorable and sometimes funny. There was also a surprising touch of darkness in the game as well with orphans being sent off to be forced to work at factories, poverty and war. Despite that, the game still manages to have a positive outlook through the childlike perspective of Felicity. All in all a very good game and I look forward to their other game Noiramore Academy!

This is a really charming little game I love the art style, the world, the characters, and the hints towards a possible future if this becomes a series. only minor nitpicks I have are a small number of spelling errors here and there tho only for the cursor text rather than the in universe text (example being the leaf popsicle sign being spelled correctly on the sign itself but saying lead popsicle on the cursor), and in some scenes the character models seem to being in default pose which made it little bit awkward in certain scenes until they emoted during their first line of dialogue, and the use of voice acting being a bit inconsistent (tho that's more of personal gripe) But again only minor nitpicks, everything else was well done and I'm excited and very hopeful to see more in the future, LOTS of potential imo.

Severely underrated game with cute game mechanics and story. I love the quirky art style and looking forward to learn more about the lore!

This game is cute, i'll give it that. Pros: - fully voice acted - The rhythm game is fun - The world it's in is very interesting Cons: - It is very much a kids game - The puzzles are VERY order specific - The point $ click aspect is kinda weak Overall I think Kitty Rue lives in a cool world and this game could be interesting, but also i don't think I'm the target age range so i'm gonna keep that in mind. i'm going to give it 4/5 beats.

If you enjoy charming point and click adventure games, then I'd definitely give this game a look. There's a lot of love and work put into the world too! The characters and writing is, again, charming, cute, and light-hearted (but it does have some good emotional moments too, it's not fluff). It's a tightly written compact story about a space cat girl(kinda) and her mothchild friend(kinda) trying to avoid getting sweat-shopped by the ruling government, but all she wants to do is dance and make the big bucks. Despite the plot itself being relatively straightforward (which ain't a downside), I really enjoyed all the little bits of info you get about the alien world and their physiology! On top of being a point and click adventure, there's some engaging rhythm game segments worked in. As far as the rest of the game, it should feel fairly familiar if you've played these kinds of games before. You click on the clickables and combine them to make stuff and get past obstacles. I enjoyed the voice work too, it was a nice surprise! As far as criticisms go, there's nothing that overtly stands out or hinders my experience. Again, with games like this, I mostly care if it A) works properly, and (B) has an engaging story, which it does on both fronts! I'll say that I think some of the rhythm game aspects could be further polished or modified to make it a bit easier to keep up. You should have no trouble clearing them, I just wish the buttons weren't spread out across the screen on some of these moments because I had a little trouble seeing which keypress was actually next, but again it didn't hinder my enjoyment and its pretty forgiving if you mess up. This game would be great for any young ones too, it's family-friendly.
