The Fangs Huntress is a retro-inspired first person shooter with a huge roster of monsters and bosses, with a fantastic array of weapons. The game puts you in the shoes of a demon hunter in search of the all-powerful vampire Vladislav!

Let's get something straight. This is a terrible game. The enemies are basically bullet sponges. The weapons feel as if your just squirting them with a water pistol. The levels have a tendency to be extremely linear and have a weird quirk where you have to grab a key at the right time else you end up with a five minute search trying to find it (it helps that if you feel you getting too much progress then just go back a few doors and retrace your steps). The game has this weird bug where no matter how much shotgun ammo you get it will reset to 10 when you reach the next level. "So why Druffy, are you recommending this?" I hear you ask. Simple. Look who's publishing this. That's right, it's Slippy Floor. If you don't know who these guys are click on their name under publisher. Notice all those god awful porn games? The one's that look like they belong on early-mid 2000s Newgrounds? Yeah, that's all they usually do. They're also buggy messes to make matters worse. While this game does have it's problems it's obvious that quite a bit of effort was put into it. There are few if any bugs aside from the aforementioned shotgun ammo. The levels, although cut and pasted shapes that becomes noticeable as you go through, at least have some variance in textures and decorations; hell, some of them even have cool architecture, particularly the large hallways. The enemies are generic and frankly easy to beat, the pain recoil makes it such that if you pump them with ammo then they can never damage you. That being said if they DO hit they can take chunks off if you're not careful. The variety in enemy design is a nice touch and they at least have different death animations and sounds. So yeah, this game is no Doom, Wolfenstein or Duke Nukem. I wouldn't even recommend it for the price. But if it ever goes on sale then I am happy to recommend it. And please give this a good review if you like it. That way Slippy Floor will at least publish some half-decent games next time.
The Fangs Huntress is not the perfect game. It is however very playable and fairly decent compared to a lot of stuff on Steam. From a Developer that makes nothing but crap smut games, this is a very much welcomed surprise. Thankfully this game was not made in the "Raycasting Game Maker" (which some devs have been using to dump many games on Steam with that god-awful engine.) It was created on the "Easy FPS Editor". The Fangs Huntress is nice and short at 2 hours, it's not too short and doesn't overstay. I was able to finish the game and came out enjoying it! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2565477742 Starting with the pros. The game is 10 levels, each quite big and have their own look and feel. The biggest welcomed sight is the levels are not flat! There are some nice big rooms as well as tall ceilings/outdoor areas that give the game that much more interesting maps. The levels, for the most part, are fairly linear but do have branching rooms to let you go kill more enemies and collect health/ammo or find secret rooms. New enemies are also introduced throughout the entire game, which is great that you don't have to be fighting the same 6 same enemies in the same-looking areas. There is some effort in this, and it really shows! Yes, the enemy types are all the same, either melee or ranged, but at least they look different. Being that the game wants to play like Wolf3D, but it has full 3D mouselook support, which is very much appreciated! Graphically everything looked good and felt like everything fit in the game. Weapons are serviceable and do the job. The ambient music selection is also really good, and only really 2 I found weren't that great. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2565477827 Now my complaints. The first being the resolution settings or the lack of. I played the game in windowed mode, as going into fullscreen was at an odd resolution that did not agree with my dual monitors. I attempted to use "Borderless Gaming" in an attempt to fake it full screen, but that just broke the game sadly, so I just forced myself to just play in windowed. My second complaint is the game is dark, with no option to increase game brightness. I feel this game would have been way more enjoyable had it been a bit brighter or at least had more areas being lit up from lights. With the game being dark, every time you pick up an item or health, the screen flashes white, blinding you every time. The player movement speed I thought was a little too slow, but that is just a minor complaint. There is no sprint or crouch or jump, but again this is why I give it the Wolf3D comparison. Enemies are just one-sided sprites, meaning they will always be facing you. The difficulty of the game is laughably easy. Most of the "harder" enemies are just bullet sponges, but it also depends on what weapon you are using, as some obviously deal more damage than others. The Stake and Crossbow are honestly the worst weapons. Once I was able to use the revolver and shotgun steadily I never used those two ever again unless I absolutely needed to if I ran out of ammo, which thankfully never happened if you always found secret rooms. The weapon sounds are pretty weak though. There is however a bug with shotgun ammo that every time you go to the next chapter, the ammo will always reset to 10. The decision that they made the player character's voice be Text-To-Speech is just laughable and just bad. I think the one big thing missing that would greatly improve the game, is an end of the level stats screen. Like in Wolf3D or Doom, it shows you how many enemies you killed and how many secrets you found and missed. Something that's a big staple in retro FPS games, and that completionists like myself enjoy having so we know if we got everything or not. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2565477838 In the end, I still enjoyed it! It's a decent Wolf3D inspired FPS that is completely playable and can be completed! For the CND$4.65 might be a tad much. I did however get a key from a bundle for less than $1, so for me, it's much easier to recommend. The Fangs Huntress doesn't break new ground, but it treads on the familiarity of retro FPS to be enjoyable for a quick game. Plus when you remember this game came from Devs that make crap smut games, I'd take this game over those any time! While there was effort put into this game, it just lacks the polish and feel of much higher quality retro FPS games available all over Steam already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bud_AHGyeDw My biggest problem with this game is how it makes me feel nauseated just moments into playing it. Usually this is caused by 3D games having way too low of a field of view. Since the FoV cannot be adjusted in the settings on this game, I can't play a game that's gonna have me puking if I play it even 30 minutes. Ugh. I can't recommend this one, unless you just want a very poor mans version of games done so much better such as "Devilated" and "Ions Fury" My Score: A dismal 3 out of 10. - NOT Recommended.
不错,体积很小。内容有模有样。女主角,有配音。
This game gives me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ headache and top of that it's awful wolf3d clone. Don't buy. I wouldn't even do if it is on sale for one cent. This game has no soul.
Pretty decent small old school fps in the style of Wolf 3D. Of course not a great game but much better than most similar games on steam.
Kind of a backhanded recommendation.. For $1.50 this is competent enough and I played through all 10 levels to finish it in 2 hours. It's VERY easy, with many enemies that provide very little threat, all while groaning like old men (zombies). It actually made me wonder if toward the end of the game it would turn out I had gone crazy and was mowing down old harmless people in a retirement home. The game at its base is very competent, with little to complain about, but it doesn't do a single thing exceptionally and it's hard to recommend for any reason other than its dirt cheap price. Had it been $7 I would have felt ripped off. I guess the game lacks a map and you don't have a crosshair, but I found it easy to target enemies and never got lost, so not really deal breakers for me. It's a fine, easy FPS with boring enemies and boring level design that echoes some of the oldest games in the genre. It's closer to Wolfenstein 3D, Ken's Labyrinth or Blakestone (but less confusing to navigate and with modern controls) than it is to something pacier and more exciting like Doom. You're not missing anything by not playing this and a bunch of random player-made Doom WADs will probably be more enjoyable to you, but given the fair price I really didn't mind it for what it was. A fun, if short retro FPS. Only about 90 minutes long. The art is quite good and I enjoyed encountering each new enemy. If you like simple retro FPS games, get this on sale for a couple bucks.
