it might not be the best game, but for a free game, its a fun experience
It's alright, considering; though it needs a significant amount re-work.
The final boss made me cream, 10/10

I really want to recommend this, I really do. It has a simple, yet intriguing story, amazing ideas with the dashing and pulling, pretty good level design, and a very nice set of bosses. But OH MY GOD. These controls need to be polished. The movement is extremely fast, making you accelerate to top speed instantly, and stop on a dime at the same time. The parrying is fine, but it needs some work. The combat would be good if combos were more fluent, and if the dodge roll actually did anything, shielded enemies aren't even threatening, and the only thing that can block you does it with his sword, no shield. Also. the ranged enemies have crossbows that match the fire rate of Slave Knight Gael's. I really badly want to like this game, but the controls make it almost unbearable. I was going to give this an 8/10, but because of the controls alone, I have to give it a 4/10. It was so close to being good. Music was a 9/10 though, damn, they went hard on the soundtrack.
I don't know how harsh I should be about whats basically a very small scale studio project- and a free game at that- but dear God the controls are abysmal. Combos feel like swinging an ironing board with an anvil on the end, rolling does nothing, and the damage system operates on Castlevania logic where every single hit throws you across the room onto your ass regardless of how much damage it did. Couldn't even bring myself to beat the first boss, and sadly I don't want to bother.
everything in this game is below average and i really think it was better if the developer(s) focus on a smaller project 5/10

solid story & general gameplay, but mechanics are wildly inconsistent and fps drop pretty much when anything happens
Simple and fun for a free game.
