The Fairway Club

The Fairway Club is a fun arcade like golf game offered at a great price. It reminds me of the arcade game Golden Tee Golf that I spent way to much money playing in the 90's onward. I would say this game is worth paying $7.50 for, so $1.99 is a great value. It would be nice if there was a two player option as well and the options of various hats might be nice too, but I am not complaining for a $1.99, so good job thanks to the developer.

Game plays very smoothly. Fun little golf game that is worth the price without a doubt. I hope the dev adds a top down toggle view button rather than cycling through view modes. And Or a way to make the map bigger and have player location marked with an arrow pointing the way i'm facing or something. Great solo Dev game regardless!

This is a superb, relaxing golf game. I've experienced no bugs. Graphics, sound, everything is good to excellent. The controls are great! For the price, this is an absolute no-brainer. It may be the biggest bargain on Steam. Get it, you won't regret it!

Perfect if you are looking for a casual experience.[/h1] [u]Pros[/u] - Game is very simple to learn and master. - Game is very relaxing and good to spend some time - Driving buggy is funa dn controls are smooth. If the Dev decide to make a driving game with such simple controls I'll get it. - No micro transactions of any kind. Customizing buggy is fun. other stuffs you can unlock are balls, clubs, trails. just cosmetics. - 3 courses available, all are beautiful especially the meadows. TFC course you'll unlock once you reach lvl 3 for exhibition matches. - Infinite re-playability. - Challenge yourself in same courses or Timed more in practice. change wind speed and conditions for extra challenge. - Installation under 2GB. - Very light on system resources. I don't have a graphics card and in medium settings I get around 20-30 FPS. [u]Cons[/u] - I encountered bug only once and it didn't affect game in any way. it was when I drove the buggy and it was like swallowed by the sand but I kept driving and reached other side. May be because of my limited Hardware, otherwise many won't encounter any bugs. - No multiplayer so don't expect to play it with friends. Not a con, but I saw many complaining about it. Even its mentioned in store page about single player. [u]suggestion[/u] - It'd be nice to see the position of player in the map just like the hole. when you go to collect cash, you can sometimes get lost. Also it'll help to align the shot properly. - It would be cool if a local co-op can be added. It'll be fun to play with a brother/ sister/ GF. Much cost effective than buying a server and hosting multiplayer sessions. - In future if more courses can be added it'd be cool. - Addition of some tournaments would be fun. Even if they're are made up like ABC cup to avoid copyright. - Addition of accessories like caps, goggles, armbands, etc could be added to store to enhance customisation. - Adding some spectators even if they're few would be cool for the experience along with cheer and clap sounds. It's okay. Kind of boring, and particularly janky regarding the movement, controls, etc. Feels lonely, since there are no tournaments, or NPCs. The glowing blue filter over everything doesn't help anything. Overall, I just think there's something missing. Even the shop only offers different colors of the same items. For a buck or two, you'll probably get up to an hour or two of fun out of this.
