The Faceless Man

Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/GWtec7p_iGc First off warning it's a VERY short game I honestly beat all the game modes in an hour and a half and that's with me not knowing that the end credits of the first game mode took you to the gallery I was actually looking for something to trigger the next event in the game for an extended period of time. I do like that instead of making the game hardcore impossible camping baddie from hell like some games do the difficulty raises in hell mode by making things a lot harder to see even though by now you should be familiar with your whereabouts on the map and slenderman kills you faster. That's another thing I disliked about the game was that I was expecting the faceless man to be something different than slenderman, but it's legitimately 100% slendie. The monster doesn't chase either he just teleports near you which takes away some of the scariness in the game I think I got jump scared by the water tower more than I ever did by slendie in this game the atmosphere in hell mode was pretty solid though. I also wish there was way more story I was expecting to get a good bit more after beating the alternate modes, but there is very little throughout the entire game. It's not terrible, but it's not very good either.

Un Slenderman plutôt sympa au niveau atmosphère et visuel. Je le trouve un peu cher par contre pour le contenu proposé. On peut certes relancer une game pour refaire seulement la partie collecte des notes en mode normal ou hard, mais le nombre d'emplacements possibles pour les notes étant malgré tout assez limité, il n'y a pas énormément d'intérêt pour moi à rejouer. Le jeu principal se fait en 30 minutes environ en prenant le temps d'explorer et d'observer son environnement. Côté frayeur, le jeu ne fait pas peur si vous êtes un minimum habitué à jouer à des jeux d'horreur. Quoi qu'il en soit, c'était une expérience plutôt sympa. Il serait bon par contre de faire preuve d'un peu plus de réalisme concernant le descriptif du jeu, parce que la personne l'ayant rédigé semble s'être un peu emballée par rapport au contenu effectif du jeu. Des mécaniques innovantes ? Non, absolument pas. Juste du classique pour un jeu du genre. De la tension du début à la fin ? Pas non plus. Le jeu est cool, mais pas exceptionnel non plus. Je recommande, mais à -50% ou plus, ce serait plus juste par rapport à ce qui nous est proposé.

like the other reviews say, its a clone of slender: the eight pages. if you want more slender (which i did) this is worth your money. my only negative impression is that the running animation is atrocious.

So, fun fact about the character of Slender Man: he is copyrighted, and naturally, Victor Surge (aka Eric Knudsen) is the copyright holder. Seeing as how he is not listed anywhere in the credits, I can only assume that the developers did not obtain permission to use the character in their game, hence them constantly referring to the titular antagonist as "The Faceless Man". Other than that, it's just another Slender: The Eight Pages clone with the same jumpscare sound effect, a different map, a couple of interactive cutscenes, and for whatever reason, Blair Witch-style stick figures littered around the map. It does not earn the 6 dollar price tag at all, in my opinion, especially not with the two alternate modes, "Lost Memories" and "Hellmode". Spoilers on both modes below: [spoiler]Lost Memories is the exact same game in the exact same map, with the only differences being that it seemingly takes place during daytime with a thick layer of fog, there is an extra line of dialogue once you collect all 8 notes, and there is a constant ambience of droning/banging noises which quickly becomes more annoying than unsettling. Hellmode is the same game and same map yet again, with slightly less obnoxious ambience, and a thick red haze that makes it much more difficult to see. The only other difference is that once all 8 notes are collected, a deep laugh is heard before abruptly returning to the main menu. [/spoiler] There also does not seem to be any difference in the aggression of Not-Slender-Man across any of the 3 game modes, and its aggression doesn't seem that high in the first place. You could likely go an entire playthrough without so much as seeing it. The one thing I can somewhat praise this game on is level design. It is very easy to get lost in the forest where you search for notes, which is definitely a trait you want in a Slender map. The one criticism that I have is that there are several invisible walls in places that otherwise seem completely accessible, and constantly running into them can get irritating. tl;dr, it's a cheap attempt at cashing in on Slender Man's popularity 10 years too late.

不要被画质骗了， 这纯纯就是一坨大便， 而且游戏就是把瘦长鬼影里面的一小段搬出来做了个游戏 就是瘦长鬼影里面，找八个书页的那一段， 简直一模一样， 而且比瘦长鬼影里面更难找，可能是为了怕玩家退款吧 游戏还有BUGG，劳资找了7个书页了， 掉了坑儿里， 就特喵的爬不出来了 西内

有点太短了 最后通关以后 你作为一个警察在看资料 我还想着怎么站起来，原来那是画廊。。。。。总结就是 画面更新版的瘦长鬼影找8张纸条 还很短

This is honestly just another basic Slender man game. I thought it was alright but it would have been a lot better if there was more story to it especially after seeing the gallery.

Dis donc ça sent le plagiat de Slenderman non ? Mais en moins bien car je traverse certaines textures de roches, mais il y a bien pire : A la 7ème note, je me suis bloqué à un arbre, impossible de continuer ....
