Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a book on the barrows of England, documenting the treasures she finds buried within. When an intriguing letter summons her to the small village of Bewlay, tucked away in the remote countryside, she sets off by train with her assistant a day behind.
Upon her arrival, however, the mysterious man who summoned her is nowhere to be found. Her assistant never arrives. A stubborn landowner refuses access to the barrow, and the locals are wary of this woman who is traveling alone and (gasp!) wears trousers.
The excavation of Hob’s Barrow is off to a rocky start. And then Thomasina starts having strange dreams…

A dark, complex and evolving storyline featuring interwoven elements from real English folklore.
Traditional point and click adventure game puzzles and interactions, with an easy modern interface.
A cast of intriguing characters, from suspicious villagers to sickly vicars to lordly landowners, all with their own unique stories and motives.
A distinct folk horror tone and grounding.
Evocative pixel-art graphics, featuring cut-scenes and engaging animations.
A suitably atmospheric original soundtrack from The Machine. The Demon. - one half of the duo behind the award-winning "Football Game" soundtrack.
Fiends in the furrows, the smell of damp soil, and a cat or two.

really exceptional, I wish I could play it more. I enjoyed the voice acting and the soundscapes quite a lot, as well as all the characters. I only wish the sound mixing for The Changeling was better! I can barely hear the words! would love to play it for the first time again.....
Super Fun Little Point and Click! Would Highly recommend if you like Folk Horror in general. Good soundtrack and phenomenal Voice Acting. Overall 9/10 game, good thing to keep you occupied for an evening, Would love to be able to play this again. Semi-Spoilers? Wish the level of complexity found in the final act was more present throughout. Felt like the game really hit its stride with its balancing of puzzles to story to movement. I saw some reviews saying that they didn't love the ending to the game, But I think for the genre we are in, it worked phenomenally. I was very invested the entire game and liked the story as it was told, but hey play the game yourself and form your own opinions.

i paid only 1 CNY for this game. at first i was really absorbed in the story telling, but i always got lost between sites...... However the producer has its own authentic instruction so following that makes my discovery much smoother. And its rather easy to get all achievements. However, i dont really get the "last day",like, where did the monster go after it controlled the main character to kill her father, and why her mother was so cruel to her???? . it just twist soo fast and i dont like the "daddy issue".
Amazing game!
bueno bueno, entrete
A great point-and-click game with plenty of mystery and a bit of horror. The puzzles were paced well and the voice acting was phenomenal. I found the story intriguing throughout (probably about 6-10 hours of gameplay, give or take), and thought the ending was unique in its own sense, and in a fitting way to end the tale. Definitely recommend if you like dark, folk-type storytelling.
Solid point and click horror/mystery story. Graphics a perfect callback to some of the great 90s point and clickers!
I do not usually play point and click adventure games, but I enjoyed this one until the puzzles at the end became entirely obtuse so I recommend using a guide if you get stuck. Story is quite great, but like others mention it falls apart at the end. Still worth experiencing for $6 on sale even if you have never played a point and click adventure game like me.
10/10
Loved playing this game on my steam deck. The story is fun and perfect as is without saying much spoilers to add my 2 cents on the story xD but I def would love for people to buy it more to encourage the developer to maybe add some DLC like maybe a side quest that introduces a NG+ like ending that will also allow you to maybe get some achievements missed on the first playthrough. If you love point and click adventures that are casual you would love this =)
