If Skyrim is Rembrandt's The Night Watch, Skyrim VR is that picture of Jesus that they tried to restore. I can not think of a worse way for Skyrim to be ported to VR. However, modding this game turns it into one of the most beautiful, interactive, and fun games ever! There's the HIGGS mod that adds actual grabbing into the game. VRIK adds an actual full body. PLANCK adds active ragdolls. And those are just the "simple" one's. There's so many great VR mods for skyrim VR. I only recommend you get this on sale. (I managed to snag this game for 75% off!)

Благодаря модам, игра становится гораздо лучше огромного количества игр для вр, творить можно всё, что душе угодно. Видеть смешанные отзывы на таком проекте очень странно, хотя можно и понять негатив. Чаще всего он делится на 2 категории: 1. Людям не нравится сам принцип, они должны САМИ создавать себе игру за такую цену (С ними я согласен, но просто не могу НЕ рекомендовать игру, уж слишком много она даёт в конечном итоге); 2. Криворукие, которые не смогли нормально накатить модов и пишут, что даже модами не фиксится (Этих сразу отметайте из оценивания) В общем, не бойтесь потерять деньги, вы их вкладываете в огромное количество эмоций, сотни часов игры и возможность снова получить удовольствие в мире Скайрим, но уже на совсем другом уровне! Que decir de esta maravilla, no te cansas de jugarlo, lo dejas y a los años vuelves a jugarlo como el primer dia. Puedes usar algunos mod para mejorar graficos entre otras cosas. Ya era un juego que para muchos nos dio muchas horas de diversion y en la VR es increible verte dentro de Skyrim. Puedes pasarte el tiempo disfrutando los paisajes sin hacer nada. JUEGAZO.

Absolutely terrible VR port. I don't want to waste hours modding a game just to make it baseline functional in VR. Zero effort was put into this port and it shows.

6/10 super fun with mods but wabbajack makes it very easy to do so and it works unlike fallout 4 vr

The image quality is really bad. I couldn't get Community Shaders to work despite installing all the requirements, ensuring everything is enabled, and running the game through the Skyrim VR Script Extender. The shaders simply do not compile, and pressing the End key does not bring up any menu. Mods aside, this game is extremely buggy, blurry, and low quality by itself. A lot of mods cause crashes on startup; it's quite unstable compared to Skyrim SE. If I can't upgrade the graphics with Community Shaders and the gameplay with all the VR mods, then there is no point in this. My experience with VR in general has been bad. VR seems like a giant scam. The quality sucks. The gameplay sucks. The mods don't work much of the time. Maybe you could get Community Shaders and other mods to work for it. Good for you. I followed the instructions perfectly, installed all the requirements, ensured everything was enabled, and Community Shaders just isn't working. I will sell my VR headset and come back in 10–20 years (assuming I have not died), when maybe VR will have made some advances. But right now, it is garbage. Let's be real. Ever since Michael Kirkbride left Bethesda, The Elder Scrolls has gone down the toilet after Oblivion. Without mods, Skyrim SE sucks. And even with mods, the lore, mythology, storyline, and aesthetics all still suck compared to previous Elder Scrolls titles like Oblivion and Morrowind. Ever since Michael Kirkbride left, the series has gone down the toilet, and playing Skyrim VR without any mods reminded me just how bad the base game is without mods. At least with Skyrim SE, you can mask the badness of the base game with overhaul mods. You can't mask this abomination because the overhaul mods largely don't work for it. Maybe you could get Community Shaders to work for it. Good for you. I followed the instructions exactly, installed and enabled all the requirements, and it simply doesn't work. Garbage. Pure and total garbage. Hopefully, I will soon get a refund.
