best mmo ever
Main story could've had better pacing. It's definitely relying on you to play some of the side quests (which are way better in comparison) while you go thru main story to feel more "complete" with filler. And there's a few filler quests in main story for sure that I feel should've focused on what the main buddies in the quest to give them more character depth/a reason to help them besides cliche "the worlds in danger". We go on this quest all because someone can't get over a lost memory that they don't even KNOW what is about, it could very well be a long lost sweetroll recipe. The main story doesn't really give you a decent explanation of it, with the entire story being more questions than answers until the "end". In short, the "motive" for me was low and I felt this was a plot that could've been better thought out besides throwing in all the cool effects. Final boss fight was sorta cool, but the daedric princes you meet seem to be soo easily knocked down/no real threat besides Mora panicking. Mora is definitely more "tame" in this in comparison to his Skyrim version. Could've been a darker plot with more consequences (like with Murkmire and even Markarth story). There's a part where your buddies are down/suffering suddenly from something random, but the quest is soo short they go from "dying" to completely fine within 1 minute that it caught me offguard. Again, its either the pacing or my cp is just too high. HOWEVER, besides the main quest (with the ending upsetting me, cause i immediately thought, this was all lead up to another cash grab), everything else is godtier. The environments, side quests, and the new class clearly had time poured into it.....just the main story was not my cup of tea. A lot of the main chapter quests never really felt impactful to me, it's unfortunately the dlc after that chapter that sorta sweeps up a lil bit with explanations or character development. Overall, would recommend on sale, especially if you are NEW and are more into exploration and playing for fun/quick stories rather than the main ones. I definitely can't complain much for me getting this as a gift, I just wanted to get the weird plot off my chest.
