About
It was here before you. It will be here after.
The Dungeon Persists is a top-down, pixel-art roguelike dungeon crawler.
Choose a hero, descend through an endless run of procedurally generated floors,
and see how deep you can go before the dungeon claims you. Every run is
different, but what you learn and unlock carries forward.
Pick your hero
Six classes, Fighter, Barbarian, Wizard, Ranger, Rogue and Paladin, each
with distinct stats, attack feel, a signature mechanic and class-specific
weapons.
Descend forever
Endless procedural floors arranged into themed bands, with traps, chests, safe
rooms and telegraphed boss encounters. Face 24 enemy types including elites,
champions and four bosses.
Build your run
A large pool of weapon upgrades, 16 relics (each with a tier-II upgrade),
gear with enchantments, and consumables let you assemble a different build every
time.
Get stronger between runs
Meta-progression spends runes on persistent upgrades, an Ascension difficulty
ladder for endgame challenge, and 51 achievements to chase.
Four base difficulty levels : Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare.

First 3 runs were learning the ropes, and then I had a great 4th run, and had a blast! Fun game!
This is a fun game with enough difficulty to keep me interested. Can't beat the price either.
It's a fun roguelike game. It's not as complex as some but it doesn't need to be to engaging and entertaining.
Although I was unable to name my Paladin character Rico Suave as I was hoping... everything else in this budget roguelike game was excellent. The characters mix it up enough to want to try each one. The attacks are fun and effective. The RPG elements are solid and the choices for leveling up are varied and definitely make you feel more powerful as you go. The toughness scaling was done well and you'll have runs that end when that confuse trap runs you into a poison trap into a teleport trap into an ambush room full of Vampires and Swashbucklers, but that is the way of the dungeon. If you are looking for a fun game to play and to support a lone developer, I recommend you give this a try.
