Really cool game! It has this really cool vibe, mystery and bit of sentiment. Seems like a work of passion :)
This is a truly incredible game for free. It's hard to believe this is free, tbh. This is yet another free game I'd pay money for. There's so much content and the gameplay is genuinely fun and well designed. There's not much negative to say, really. The early game is hard but it gets fairly easy once you get your first tool kit. The story has a few moments that felt a little odd to me, but it kept me guessing. Some of it felt a bit YA novel-ish, but that's really not a negative. Even as a thirty year old woman I still like YA novels sometimes if they're well written, so who am I to complain? After all, Harry Potter is a YA novel. All of that being said, if you like good platformers with fun movement and good combat, this game rips. The absolutely insane freedom of mobility you get once you get a fair number of ways to get air and traverse lets you basically sail over a map. And normally you'd think that was a bad thing, but the game is literally designed around this. If you can get up on top of something there's a non zero chance there's a secret up there worth getting. The ability to go back to earlier areas and explore them by reaching areas that you would have started the game thinking weren't really meant to even be reached only to be rewarded with an upgrade tucked away is very nice. The game has a great sense of progression. It's not easy, that's for sure. The second real boss taught me that. That damned dragon thing is genuinely hard. But at the same time, the game is so incredibly fun that it feels rewarding for besting these challenges instead of frustrating. My one big advice is to never use the "wake up" revive option. Just go back to your last save. Saves don't work how they normally would. Saves are more like bonfires that don't respawn enemies. You keep every upgrade and all your currency and it costs currency to wake up, so just pick the "revive at last save" option instead. It's never worth spending currency to get back up where you are, imo. It's always best to save those for permanent upgrades from the shop you unlock in Act 2. If you master the combat you won't need revives and those shop upgrades will make doing that far, far easier. So you're investing in an easier game in the long run by doing so. Overall, incredible game. I look forward to seeing what else this dev makes.

Starts out really confusing and weird, the combat is best to be avoided until you get some health/damage upgrades. As you progress it becomes more and more fun. It looks like MineCraft, so if you need high fidelity visuals, skip it. Otherwise, DO IT! 9/10 The story is awesome too, don't forget to get the True Ending :D
Doors is a sweet game that scratches the puzzle/exploration itch while also bringing rewarding platforming and challenging combat to the table. I've been playing on Steam Deck which has been great. The art work is incredible, and the story is engaging, sad, and feels meaningful. You find yourself really feeling like you're stuck in an alternate reality. Twists and turns to the plot keep the story interesting and engaging. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates N64 era graphics, a mixture of 2D and 3D character models, challenging combat, and mysterious dimensions. Developer is super responsive to feedback on discord, and I can't wait to try out his next release!
This is First Person, Metroidvania, Hack & Slash, Adventure, Bliss. Game controls great with mouse/kb totally free game, if any of those genres peak your interest, its a must play title. even some pretty decent parkour mixed in, with a kind of morbid/intriguing story theme. genuinely loved playing this, took me 14 hours-ish, but i really took my time, theres definite room for speedrunners too!
Spectacular. One of the best free games I have ever played and it's a great short experience that can be binged in one sitting. Make sure to explore and find everything.

I loved it, finished it in one sitting because the moment I started I was drawn in. Some of the controls and mechanics took getting used to, but the exploration and level design felt thought through and it was fun to search every nook and cranny for attack upgrades. If you like metroidvanias, indie projects with clear passion put into them, or some decent platforming, I cannot recommend this game enough
Игра 'The Doors That Led to Nowhere' – это захватывающий психологический хоррор с уникальной атмосферой. В целом, если вы ищете игру, которая сможет вас напугать и заставить поломать голову, 'The Doors That Led to Nowhere' – отличный выбор. Определенно рекомендую любителям психологических хорроров и необычных сюжетов.
